We booked on the day of our stay after our flight was cancelled. It was therefore a little cheaper than usual but absolutely fantastic value for money even at the regular price. Helpful staff, clean, great location and good room functionality. The breakfast is at an additional cost as is normal for Munich, but also really good value - better than the breakfast we had in our first, more expensive hotel. We're thinking about a future trip to Salzburg and will definitely stay in the Cocoon Hotel located there.
Also, we stayed on Saint Nicholas Day and the hotel left a super cute goody bag on our door in the morning, containing a chocolate Santa, apple and nuts ❤️

After a difficult experience at the hotel I was set to stay with for the duration of my short visit to Munich, I checked out and had to find a new hotel quickly. Cocoon Stachus happened to be close-by and also fairly priced, and was listed among the gay-friendly hotels in the area, so I decided to book a room. The staff, in particular Chris, were not only understanding but very kind and helpful. The rooms are pleasant and modern. I would recommend the hotel to anyone looking for somewhere fairly priced to stay.

Lovely rooms, compact and efficient. The bathroom was perfect and proves you don't need a massive amount of space. I loved it for our quick trip. A good place to rest. Will say that apart from two small bedside lamps there's not much light had to turn the TV on for extra light
