I stayed at this hotel for 8 nights during a recent trip to Hong Kong. If you expect too much, the hotel may feel disappointing. However, I treated it as a place to rest and to start the day - and in that sense - it did a superb job. One staff member, Anthony, who helped me with check-in was very welcoming and set my family up with a room on a high floor and much more spacious than I had imagined. We could comfortably sleep here for the entire stay as a family of 4. Breakfast was a pack meal and rotated between four types. I appreciated it as a good and basic “fuel up” before starting the day. Again, if you expect something luxurious, it isn’t fair. You can also drink as much juice, tea and coffee as you like. Room was spacious and good. I think the carpet could have been vacuumed more and I recommend using the provided slippers while in the room. I appreciate that the bottled water was replenished daily as it helped with hydration while out and about. There were no noise concerns, but sometimes we went to sleep a bit early and we could hear some guests coming down the hall. Not a big deal, but maybe it means that the walls are a bit on the thin side. I didn’t think that the hotel was far from the MTR at all as other reviewers have noted. It’s just a 7-8 minute walk and not a hassle. I never used the shuttle bus and enjoyed the exercise. My suggestion for the hotel is that they should probably put a few more photos of the rooms on the website. Until I arrived at my room, I was kind of left guessing what room my family and I would be staying in. Otherwise, great job! I’d love to stay with the Dorsett group of hotels again sometime in the future.

A good hotel, good location. But lacked breakfast service, there was a breakfast box, but it was of the simplest kind. With breakfast served and being able to sit on the terrace and eat would be a highlight. But they don't seem to put any effort into the terrace. Could be utilized much more for the guests.

Fairly close to centre with shuttle options to mtr stations. It's a no frills hotel.but sheets and toilets clean. The room is cramped. Hardly any storage space. No microwave in room and found.out one on 5th floor accidentally. No helpful suggestions on getting to hotel from airport too. WI.do2s tightly shut and no view at all.

Our flight arrived at 4:30am and we arrived at Cosmo at 6am. Check in wasn't available until 3pm so we had 9 hours to spend. I have to admit, it's quite inconvenient as most customers are quite tired after a long flight. I'm sure they have their reasons, such as cleaning the rooms. We stayed at Cosmo for 3 weeks. The pictures on instagram are very different from what it looks in reality. lol The staff were friendly and check in process was quick. We had a choice of choosing the room colour (green, yellow or orange). Breakfast is not included, so you need to pay extra. We've only got it once because it doesn't look that appetizing. There is a patio called the Breeze, located on the 5th floor. A shared kitchen (hot water, microwave, coffee machine and refrigerator) is also available on the 5th floor. The hallway is a bit dark and stuffy. For the first 2 weeks, there were 2 purifiers but they suddenly disappeared on the last week of our stay. lol The walls are thin so you can hear people slamming the doors and talking. The room is quite spacious but there is a smell that came from the toilet, a very unpleasant one. The shower drain was poorly done as water kept overflowing, which made the washroom floor very wet. Laundry services and shuttle buses are available, however you would need to walk over to Dorsett Hotel (a minute walk away). $80hkd to wash and to dry. It is better to go on a weekday as there are only 2 washers and 2 dryers. The shuttle buses are quite convenient, you may ask the staff for the bus schedule. If you don't mind taking the bus and tram then this hotel is alright. Nothing is close by, everything is a walk (around 10 minutes), even the convenient stores. I would have given 4 stars, however, one of the housekeeper denied us of toilet paper on our second last night of the stay. My husband had called housekeeping and the man told him: "Toilet paper? Cannot." When my husband asked him why, the man hung up on him. This was a very confusing and a disappointing moment as toilet paper is a basic necessity to customers. If there was a legit reason, such as (supplies being stocked) then it's understandable. But hanging up without giving a reason is just plain rude.
