Great staff. Typical Courtyard. Clean and simple. Food options in the hotel are a little limited, but they are fine overall.

Did not enjoy my stay at this property. I stayed here for two nights for a work trip. Housekeeping did not service my room once. There were burn holes in the bed sheets. This was a non-smoking room and smelled like lingering smoke. The weather was freezing outside and so was the water in the hotel. I had to shower with cold water for 3 days and then go outside in 30 degree weather every morning. Then, when I checked out, the front desk said I had a charge for parking my car at the hotel. This was never stated to me at check in, be careful with this gimmick. It’s on their website but they don’t state it to you. I’ll never stay here again.

I am a faithful Marriott guest, so this review is like no other I have posted about this Hotel chain. I went to ATL for the weekend and stayed at The Courtyard by Marriott Atl West. The customer service was nothing but southern hospitality. The associates were very nice and accommodating with request we had. The location is a great location close to the airport, shopping and multiple food options. My disappointment with this hotel was first, the shuttle from the airport took over an hour and a half to pick me and my family up. After calling the hotel again for the shuttle they disclosed the van that we should look for is a Hilton Van which was damaged on the outside with a piece of paper that showed the hotel name. Secondly, I have never stayed at a Marriott that didn't provide at least a continental breakfast, but it did allow me to explore the small cafes around. Third issue, upon walking into the room the furniture looked like it had never been cleaned, it looked like it had been picked from the trash with stains all over. My final disbelief was a visit from a roach when turning on the bathroom lights. I didn't sleep the whole weekend because I was too busy checking the ceilings and walls for any other creatures. No the hotel didn't offer anything other than maintenance to come get rid of the uninvited guest. 9/22 The Assistant GM contacted me today to compensate my visit with them. I get free night stay and an additional 17000 Bon Voy points for a free night somewhere else. They assured me they were taking the head of house keeping to this specific suite to have it reviewed to see how they can clean things up. They said they have their own van fixed now I appreciate Marriott for hearing my complaint, acting swiftly and promosing to fix the problem I updated my stars to a 2 because customer service matters and they were professional, compassionate and understanding Thank you
