I was having a really horrible day and had to get a room for the night. After checking in and going to my room I decided to have a drink at the Bistro. The bartender Eddie was so kind and sweet. He chatted with me about football and other random things. It was just what I needed to get my mind off my day. He was the only person that day who showed me kindness and I will never forget that. Through his kindness and compassion he brought a smile to my face. Eddie, thank you! Keep doing a great job and being that little ray of light, you never know how the smallest gesture can be so significant to someone you are interacting with.

The hotel itself was beautiful. The grounds were well kept and the rooms were clean. Unfortunately the hot tub was not functioning. We specifically booked this hotel so we could get a nice soak in the hot tub after our 8 hour drive. We are still waiting on compensation for the stay. Many great restaurant options nearby.

We were originally booked to stay the weekend of Hurricane Hilary for our Anniversary. Thankfully staff were able to assist us with a date change and additional night. Pre-stay telephone conversation, Online Chat, Check-in, Call from room and Check-out we're all handled professionally and with a happy friendly attitude. Employees were well presented and always in neat attire. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub both days, as did a mix of other family and business travellers. We chose this location based on proximity to San Diego Safari Park. Pleasantly surprised by nearby shopping village and it's local delicious food options, plus the highly rated BBQ place nearby is fantastic and very casual, good for families and all travellers. We also ate some snacks and had beverages at the bar on property where we could use room charge. Despite many guests it was very quiet both nights. A very convenient and easy place to stay, I would stay again. The room was clean on arrival and we did not use stay over service. Room decor as anticipated for the brand. No EV charging station on property that we noticed perhaps it's something that will be added in the future.

This hotel was okay at best. They strung us along for hours after requesting early check in, letting us know they were cleaning other room types first knowing we were waiting in the lobby for our room after traveling all morning. When we got into our room it was damp and sticky, and the tv came on by itself randomly. The water while showering would randomly get scalding hot, like someone was flushing a toilet in your house. We were told we had a complimentary breakfast but it was never added to our account. Our room was not cleaned once, one day they removed all towels from our room and did not replace them with clean towels, and we had to go to the front desk to get our towels. The cherry on top was being charged twice, at booking and at check-in. Wouldn’t stay here again.

The hotel is close to a small lake and have many green areas around. Unfortunately is also close to a highway which brings a lot of noise inside the rooms. There is a outdoor pool in the back of the hotel. The rooms are big enough, bed is comfortable, but everything is quite old inside. Clean indeed. Windows are large but with very thin glass, so all the noise comes in. The most annoying thing was the door which can connects your room with the next one (for families use), through which you can get all the noise from the next room in your room. If you are lucky enough, like I was, to get a quite room neighbors, you can listen TV shows at 2-4 AM without any problems. Sound isolation is very poor.
