I feel those who stay here have a right to know the security guard of this establishment shot and killed an indigenous rights leader 8 times due to dispute over land rights of the indigenous Ati people. All of Boracay once belonged to the Ati people and I hope we tourists will respect that and the lands when we visit. Please chose to stay at an establishment that supports the indigenous community, not one complacent in the murder of activists. The stay here was not worth it after learning about the history here.

My room's air-conditioning is not working properly, and the faucets/showers have very hot water and no cold water. I've raised it with the staff who "checked" it a couple of times but to no avail. The hotel rooms are very confusing (it is really hard to find your room), and there is hardly any mobile or internet signal. Food is so-so, I've had better food at other hotels. To be fair, the staff are courteous but the facilities are disappointing. I would not go back here again.

Joined our Filipino friends here to check out the facilities over New Year, as they had upgraded to a of VIP suite with additional facilities, balcony, Jacuzzi and a poolside view, only to find the Jacuzzi and the balcony were under maintenance, the aircon kept shutting down, and the WiFi didn't work. Calling reception received a long wait, followed by a comforting message that someone would be up to attend, but nobody ever did, and requesting a room change was responded with "no more rooms available" They asked me to witness for myself, and check if a UK accent gained any improvement in service, but I am happy to report that they were just as rude and inefficient with me. On my second call, after a 10 minute wait, a man hung up as soon as I said "Good evening". When I went to reception the senior staff confirmed that nobody would do that, and refused to let me hear their voices when I suggested I would recognise him. After some hours of negotiation, our friends managed to downgrade to a better room without the maintenance issues, but have yet to receive a refund on the supposed "upgrade". This is great looking hotel with good architecture, some amazing features, and real potential, but with the serious maintenance and senior management issues, at these prices, it should be avoided for now.

It's ok, Nice pool, nice view, big room (junior suit). But the room was poorly cleaned, our room had lots of bugs that appeared from the ventilation (I think) over the toilet on the 2nd floor most of them died and there was an pile of them right beside and in the toilet they didn't clean that away for 3 days, we didnt use that toilet any more, some days they didnt clean at all, there was a little bit of ants too but that didnt bother us so much.
