Very easy to make arrangements for your stay, with transportation to and from the airport for a very reasonable fee. The staff here were phenomenal and helpful with everything I needed, big or small. Rooms are beautifully decorated and beds are extremely comfortable.

Had a lovely stay at Daru Sultan Hotels Galata. The staff were very lovely & attentive to all our needs. The rooms are very spacious and full luxury with amazing views. Situated in a romantic location just a 5 min walk away from Galata Tower which is one of the most beautiful experiences with buzzing atmosphere and fabulous photo opportunities. thank you to all the lovely staff who made our stay most memorable and magical - thank u

I stayed for 4 nights at the Daru Sultan in room 402, which I primarily booked for the view and the location. Unfortunately, these are the only positives the hotel has to offer for the price that you’re paying. The reception staff, with the exception of Hakan who is highly competent, friendly, and helpful, is rather unprofessional; especially if you consider that this is supposed to be a 4-star hotel. One of the employees even demanded my friend to leave a copy of his passport when he came to my room to have a look at the view from up there. A guest shouldn’t be disturbed or interrogated like it’s prison; a “luxury” hotel has to offer their guests a safe, private space. The general condition of the hotel is rather poor and run down. There are many traces on the furniture, the walls, and the decor that reveal the hotel’s advanced age. The closets are unfortunately pretty musty and not easily accessible. The elevator is not always working, the cleaning staff is not accurate in their duties, the shower cabins uncomfortable, and the breakfast is truly bad and absolutely not worth what you have to pay for it, as you can get amazing breakfast for the same amount at Salon Galata. Please pay attention that the pictures of the hotel you see on the internet are photoshopped and do not fully correspond to reality. I would generally advice against booking a stay at this hotel. The view is only nice during the first two nights, but then it doesn’t compensate for all the rest, as you have many places where you can enjoy Istanbul’s incredible skyline in greater comfort, privacy, and cleanliness.

We originally planned to stay at this hotel for only 2 nights. We extended for the rest of our trip in Istanbul solely because of the wonderful service provided by the staff of Daru Sultan. I want to specifically mention Hakan, Yucel, and Bilal for the absolutely wonderful experience they gave us. They have energetic personalities and are ready to genuinely help or give advice to their guests. They made us feel like friends and not just their guests. Truly top-class service and I definitely plan to come here more often in the future! Even though I have a lot of comments on the semi-transparent bathroom, I will keep the 5 stars because the hotel is worth visiting just for these amazing guys. The location cannot get any better, by the way. It's close enough to most attractions and can take Taxis for cheap to go to the ones far away. Highly recommended!!

I wouldn't stay here again and cannot recommend this hotel. One elevator was broken, the other had a mind of it's own and we ended up getting frustrated and using the stairs more than we rode the elevator. Breakfast was mediocre. Shower stall was literally smaller than a phone booth and that alone is enough to make me never want to stay in this hotel again. Wi-fi was almost non-existent in the room. Wi-fi worked in the lobby but who wants to sit in the lobby to get on the Internet? The best part of the hotel was the excellent view from the restaurant and Hakan at the front desk who was always cheerful and positive and gave us excellent service.
