The pool area and the gym is closed at 21:00! Kinda crazy. Like a summer camp for 6yo. Means no late sport session, no chance for nice rooftop chatting. With such a distance from the center, this is a very ill-considered move. And this is the reason we won't extend the staying, thank you no thank you. Apart from that, staff is nice, room is just ok, kinda clean. 1,5h from the city center tho (but we knew it).

Really not for family. Asked for extra towel for my daughter, they said we need to pay extra. Room was old and furniture was not upgraded. Location was pretty good if you walk out from the back yard but project to get in with car.

People are nice, but charging me 20 baht for 2 plastic forks while others didn’t have to pay is kinda odd. Location could be better, but BTS is close. The pool and gym place is open till 9 pm. way too short too meet and talk some travellers, especially if u just come back from a day exploring Bangkok. No food inside lobby, no food and drink at pool area no slippers available as advertised online. If u want to stay at a hotel with lots of rules and no fun, this is the first place for you. There are better options for the price.

De Botan hotel boasts a prime location, and while the room is spacious and the staff polite, the disappointment arises from the aged and damaged condition of the accommodations. On a positive note, the convenience of the Seacon Shopping Centre, easily accessible via a pedestrian bridge across the main road, adds a redeeming quality to the stay. An additional note. Be prepared for a frustrating check-out process. It's advisable to allocate extra time as it tends to be slow. Also, a crucial tip: retain the receipt for the 1000THB cash key deposit. If you fail to present the receipt when returning the keys, you risk losing the deposit. Oddly, this requirement isn't communicated initially, and it might be beneficial for the hotel to keep track of this internally. Avoid the hassle, especially when dealing with it at 5 am before a flight.
