***I would avoid this location at all costs. And in future after this experience would rethink our Hilton usage.*** Multiple issues. Let’s start off with the several calls attempting to contact front desk prior to arriving…completely absurd. Never actually was able to reach anyone. We had 2 rooms booked. Once we checked in, 1 room was completely unusable due to the odor. Odor was beyond bearable, think of a combination of extreme body odor, feet and mildew. We came into the room at noon, smelled it and assumed it was due to cleaning crew, so we turned on the fan, and left to return at 11pm. The smell was intensified and unbearable. At that point there was no resolution available from the front desk other than “go to another hotel” which at midnight with 2 kids is not an option. So we had to share a room with our travel companion. 5 people in 1 room due to ours being unusable. (Our companions room, refrigerator was broken, there were no face towels and the toilet was leaking all over the bathroom floor) When we spoke to someone for resolution in the morning. The only offer is to comp our room (which I have issue with, as it’s not a “comp” our room was completely unusable) and to take $55 off the room 5 people crammed into was the only option offered. Not an amicable solution in my opinion for the Hilton double tree name brand. I would avoid this location at all costs. And in future after this experience would rethink our Hilton usage.

Stayed one night on a business trip in November 2023. Booked online with no issues. My room was ready earlier than 3pm so that was a good thing. My confirmed room upgrade as a Hilton HHonors member was not recognized by the front desk employee. I showed her the confirmation when I arrived and she gave me the upgraded room. No explanation of breakfast options or times. The room (they call it an Executive Suite) was underwhelming. This is a hotel in need of a makeover. Multiple scratches on every piece of wood furniture. No napkins at the coffee pot. The leftover food I had delivered for an early dinner sat outside my door in the hallway all night and was still there when I checked out. It didn’t bother me but it is a huge insect/rat attraction. And the desk chair is one of those irritating leaning chairs that so many hotels bought years ago that feels like it will fall over backwards when you lean back. (No, it did not have a control to stop the reclining back. They never do…) The bed was very soft. I like that but some people do not. The AC/Heater (wall mount under the window) was not operating properly. I woke up several times with the room so stuffy I could not sleep. The bathroom door cannot open or close with a floor towel in front of the toilet. Shower was ok. This property is on a high traffic road so should have plenty of business. Spend some money and update everything is my suggestion to management.

The few staff members I encountered were extremely nice, and even offered cookies on check-in - and for general room features, having multiple cable channels, a microwave, 2 televisions, and a fridge at a $200 price point is rare for the area and a huge plus. HOWEVER, please be aware that the place, while clean, has clearly not been renovated or updated in any amount of time, and signs of wear, even in the room, are very evident. It was definitely clean (though the cleaner smell was super strong), and towels and sheets were fresh and clean, but, especially for a Hilton product, it is badly in need of updating.

We stayed here for 4 days and 3 nights. As others have recently commented, this place could definitely use some updating. The top piece on the dresser was sticky and worn. Our room did not have hand soap nor facecloths when we first arrived so we had to ask the front desk for some. The elevator makes this horrible creaking sound that puts a pit in your stomach every time you use it. If I wasn't on the fourth floor I would have taken the stairs. After going out to dinner one night, the side door would not open with either of our keys, it would click but the door remained locked or stuck. We even tried the key of a gentleman who was sitting outside the door, which we were then forced to walk around the building, which isn't a big deal but a bit of an inconvenience. When they cleaned our room on the third day, they forgot to give us a floor mat/towel for the bathroom floor. The shower/tub was a bit slippery as it did not have any grip on the tub floor, but there was a handle in the shower itself. There was no "do not disturb." sign for our door, which was part of the reason for our early checkout. Do wish they had free breakfast though. Check out is 12pm which is a plus. It wasn't the worst stay and I would stay there again just because it's close to the Renaissance faire in Tuxedo, NY. But it's definitely not what I expected for a Hilton hotel.
