Great experience and best price for one day - close to city centre. Car reservation - online. Car check-in - online. Upload personal documents (driver's license, passport and arrival/departure from the country)- on-line. Payment and subsequent confirmation - online. Picking up the car thanks to the intercom or phone with employees who will verify your identity and then unlock the keys for you. Good communication and answered all my questions over the phone. I have nothing to complain about :) I recommend the car rental company!

Stay away from this company!!! I sure wish I could give them a negative 5 star review! Truly the absolute worst experience with a company EVER! Stay away from this company. Save yourself hours of pain and torture and stay away! I booked the car rental through Expedia.co.uk. I thought it would be a reputable and good company to do business with. Man I was so wrong! Went to pick up the car at a parking garage. There was a box to push a button and talk to someone. Sometimes it would work and somebody would answer, most times nobody would answer! The info and documents they wanted was so intrusive and crazy! My driver's license with my address and Passport was not enough! They wanted documents on how I got to Edinburgh and how and when I was leaving! They wanted multiple documents with my address on it! Doing everything online and automatically paying my utilities It was hard to get the info. Plus this was deep in some parking garage I had no cell service! So I had to leave and try to get a mortgage bill and upload it. Then use the call box and hope they would answer. When they finally did they needed some new piece of info. That and every other picture I took with the same phone was blurry and had to be redone! We were stuck in a parking garage trying to get the rental car we paid for weeks ago for almost 3 hours! When every other place wanted a copy of driver's license, passport and credit card! It was crazy how much documents they wanted. When we got to the parking garage, there was some people trying getting their car. They had been there for over 1 hour! Having trouble jumping through all the hoops! Seriously, save yourself a bunch of time, pain, frustration and anger. Rent from National or Budget. Stay away from this company!

Overall not a very good experience. The pickup point in Omni Edinburgh is not easy to find when you get to level -3 in the car park. The pickup process is entirely automated. This wasn’t clear from the emails I received, just mentioned in a minor note at the bottom of one when I booked. The online check-in process was slow and I had to call four times, each for a different reason, to get through the process. The phone was answered quickly and the staff were knowledgeable but not proactive. If I didn’t call I would still be waiting for approval after many hours. The car was not clean inside. Previous users’ litter was still in the rear door pockets. The car was highly damaged outside, although this was noted on a piece of paper inside the car when I picked it up. The windscreen washer fluid was empty. The car model was a Fiat (although I booked a Ford) and the car was quite badly made. No CarPlay/Android Auto. Warnings all the time when nothing was wrong. An indicator that also activated the high beams when used. It put me off ever considering to buy a Fiat. I wouldn’t recommend this service in the future. It’s the cheapest (although not that cheap) but one of the worst rental experiences I’ve ever had.

I am completely disappointed from this company. They don’t have any support and they do there best to not help you throw the phone. Is not clear from the map where to go and we lose so much time looking for it. In the end we cancel the rental because they couldn’t charge me 1500£ for insurance. In the end we couldn’t cancel even the rental from the 3rd site tghat allready paid 32£ and we lose our many and our time. Right now I am in the car that I rent from a different company much easier with better service and customer support. Worst couldn’t be.

DO NOT USE DRIVALIA CAR HIRE (EX EMPLOYEE REVIEW!!!) Hi unfortunately had no option but to go ahead and post this. I've been working with this company for upto 1 year and worked hard enough to get alot of 5 star reviews with and without my name mentioned. Any of my reviews that have my name mentioned please don't take it in to consideration. If your looking to hire a Car you are better of using a company without a £1500 deposit.... surprise surprise when your picked up by the shuttle bus and you reach the branch. They pick and choose who they want to charge and who they don't, the same cars that are damaged prevouisly or deemed unsafe to be giving out to customers are still going out ,customers that bring there family and kids for a vacation have been given unsafe cars to use i've wittnessed this, ODB Code readers have been Used to remove Codes and then sending the car out with no faults, type pressure lights getting reset even if the tyre has a puncture so customers leaving there deposit eventually need to pay for tyres , the safety measure are next to none, the lot are not genuinely interested about safety what soever, I've seen customer's get stung and charged with damage's that where prevouisly on the car, I've wittnessed customers been given cars with serious faults and illegal tyres oil levels are never checked after hire's, tyres are not checked in a proper way neither is the damage to the cars that have been damaged due to prevouis hirer's , customers are getting misled by third party and get a big surprise when you reach the branch. The cleansiness of the cars are horrendous there's been many time's where customers have found items in the car that shouldnt be there, when it's supposedly just been valeted. I can go on on but I'm going leave it at that for now , ITS YOUR DECISION BEFORE YOU GO AHEAD BOOKING WITH THEM....
