We are immensely disappointed with our stay at Dubai Marine Resort & Spa. 1) First and foremost, the name itself states resort and spa. They fail to mention however, that the spa is PERMANENTLY CLOSED. Even reception failed to give us the heads up and we had to find out when asking staff around the resort. 2) Early closing times. Facilities close really early. Beach access closes 5.30pm, while pool access and gym closes at 7pm. Hence, if you have any plans to tour Dubai during the day you definitely will miss out on these amenities. 3) Overpriced and small. Rooms are small and overall not worth the price you pay. Upon entering the room you could basically dive right into the beds. The private beach is so miserably small. It was underwhelming to see. Rooms seem to have a stale SMOKE smell. The water pressure is really weak and the toilet flush feels like it’s going to spoil any moment. Broken hangers in the room and not cleared. 4) The reception staff are untrained. For a 5 star hotel, the reception staff gave wrong information that there were no eateries and facilities outside the resort and said the resort is secluded. However, when my family decided to explore the area, there is literally a long stretch of restaurants and cafes right across the road. The staff do not seem to be well trained in customer service. For a 5 star hotel this was surprising. We called the buggy service, at times they were excellent and fast but it did not show up 2-3 times when called and we were just left standing around before deciding to just walk. Subsequently we decided not to use the buggy service. One of the staff goes around checking the mini bar 2x while we are in the room which seemed strange. 5) Their processes and check in check out systems are dated. Check in check out times are slow and inefficient. Overall, the aesthetics of the place is really nice and it has potential. However the cons outweigh the pros. This stay dwindled my family’s Dubai experience

Unmet Expectations at Dubai Marine Beach Resort Hotel: Dear Dubai Marine Beach Resort Hotel Management and Team, I am writing to express my disappointment following my recent stay at your resort. I selected your establishment with the anticipation of exceptional service and facilities. Regrettably, my experience did not align with these expectations, particularly concerning the accessibility of your amenities. I have a busy schedule, engaged in meetings from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and I chose your resort specifically for its potential for relaxation during the early mornings and late evenings. However, it was disheartening to find out that key facilities such as the swimming pools, private beach, gym, and steam bath had very restrictive operating hours, opening only after 8:00 AM and closing by 6:00 PM. This timing made it impossible for me to use these amenities considering my commitments. The reasoning given by your staff, attributing the early closure to the manager’s personal schedule, is quite surprising and frankly unsuitable for a resort of your standing. The core of hospitality, particularly in a luxury resort, is to meet and exceed the needs of every guest. In this case, the needs of guests like myself seem to have been overlooked. Additionally, the absence of the manager for direct communication and the lack of a responsible authority during this period is a significant lapse in customer service. Being directed to staff members who are unable to address or escalate my concerns only added to my frustration. This inflexible policy not only shows a lack of regard for guest convenience but also significantly diminishes the overall experience and value for money, especially for someone who chose your resort for its reputed superior service and flexibility. As I continue my stay for three more days, I feel a sense of regret and dissatisfaction, questioning my decision to choose a premium resort that does not adequately prioritize the basic needs and relaxation of its guests. I hope you view this feedback not just as a critique but as a chance to reflect and enhance your service standards, policies, and guest relations. My wish is that future guests will not encounter similar disappointments. Thank you for taking the time to consider my experience.

The hotel is excellent. quiet and peaceful. The beach is very beautiful. The staff is very respectful. Especially the housekeeper named mrs.May makes people happy. She is so friendly and respectful, I thank her very much.
