I love it here. The location is great, a little off the busy path, but in a safe and beautiful area. Walking distance to cafes and parks and all of the attractions of the centre. The hotel is quiet the staff are very thoughtful.

Breakfast at this hotel blew me away. The cafe is a great place to do work in the morning. Coffee is 10/10, the seats are comfy seats, and there's outlets available near the seating. Best bang-for-your buck in the city. Rooms are clean and the service is professional and friendly.

A really good experience. The staff are so friendly, especially on reception. The room was sparkling clean and the bedding luxurious and lovely, the bed also was very very comfortable. The location is great and there are good places to see and places to eat within a few minutes walk. I would stay here again, a special highlight was all the massive original paintings; giving the hotel a very nice vibe.

The room itself was great with the free upgrade of the Presidential Suite. However, the noise from the dining room that turned into a cocktail lounge after 9 pm took away from the experience. We had nachos, fish tacos, and sangria in their restaurant which were quite good! We had to leave earlier than the restaurant opened, so they made us 2 boxed breakfasts to go!

We lucked out finding this little gem for our last night in Costa Rica! The front desk staff were so friendly, and without being asked, helped us with our bags to and from the car/parking lot around the corner. And yes, there is gated parking - our rental car was fine! Also, the receptionist unexpectedly upgraded us to a king-sized bed in a QUIET room, which was spacious. A nice touch - there was a bottle of filtered water waiting for us in the room. We much prefer this to plastic bottles! The bathroom was new and very clean. There is a soap/shampoo dispenser in the shower, but no toiletries. There is a hair dryer though. That night we went to the attached gastropub and enjoyed COLD beers and Plantanos. The next morning we got complimentary coffee, eggs, bacon and toast included with the room. Very cool boutique hotel - we would stay here again.
