This hotel is an absolute gem! I stayed for 9 days in May, and I loved every minute. It is EXACTLY what I was looking for in a London hotel – elegant, classic, charming & cozy. The style is timeless, traditional but not stuffy or overdone. I love the classic and comfortable furnishings: the velvet chairs in the dining room; the floral bedspreads and curtains in the bedrooms; the antique chairs and sofas throughout. So many hotels these days have erased all character from their decor and replaced it with white/grey/modern everything. Not so here at Durrants. THANK YOU for that. Please don't ever change. The George bar, with its wood-paneling and leather chairs, is a perfect and cozy spot for a delicious French 75 or cocktail of your choice. I loved inviting friends to meet me for a drink in "my" bar. All of the staff were terrific, especially the concierge, Clive. He was always friendly and professional. If I needed a cab or any advice about London transport, he was very helpful. The location of the hotel is fantastic, on a quiet street just a few blocks from Oxford St. The 139 & 189 bus stop is just down the street. There are plenty of cute shops and cafes in the area. I truly feel that this hotel is my new home in London, and I will definitely be back for another visit.

Firstly I haven't stayed at the Durant's, as I live in London. But the Durant's is my favorite privately Owned London Boutique Hotel, it's my secret hideaway for meetings, for a quiet tea and scones, or a early evening glass of wine. The service is impeccable. Please don't tell all your friends only your very very special ones. 👑👑👑👑👑👑

A truly fantastic family, run hotel and a gem of a place. Very British. Really worth staying. Very convenient location yet quiet. Nice clean comfortable rooms and very nice bathrooms. Excellent toiletries. The team goes out of its way to look after you. Highly recommended.

This is an utterly magical place however Modern chic and minimalist it isn't. I was staying after hip surgery at Harley Street Specialist Hospital. From the first moment we walked in, hurried as we were to get checked in and on to the hospital; the hotel genuinely seemed to be a step back in time. The doorman was effortlessly polite and charming. The concierge Nicholas was keen to help and a master at resolving problems quickly. The level of service from all the staff is exceptional here. This is a beautiful and calm place. The service is exemplary and, in a world of madness, appears unapologetically stiff upper lip British. There were elderly gentlemen reading papers in leather clad armchairs and couples taking tea. It reminded me of a film set, and I loved every moment of our stay there. Well done, I will be back. Thank you for a lovely stay.
