Spartan and small, but clean. Small rooms, but new and decently-appointed bathrooms. More of a "youth-hostel" than hotel feel; didn't realize I would have to buzz to get in. Quirky TV controls. But if all you need is a place to sleep instead of lounge, it's perfectly fine.

This hotel was amazing I work for an architecture firm and love old architecture so it was fun staying here. It was perfect for using transit to get around close to everything we needed to get around the city. I cant wait to stay here again. Our only problem was the shower wasn't slopped properly and it caused the bathroom and portion of the carpet so flood. Besides that everything was great and cant wait to come back and stay again. All the staff was friendly and helpful.

The hotel is located in the zombie area part of town, enough said. Room was pretty small, wasn't cleaned regularly and they didn't changed sheets very often, same as bathroom towels. Bathroom and shower were out of the room in different parts each. Worst thing though was that they are trying to charge us 200 dollars for not giving the keys back which we 100% did, so now we have to waste time and energy discussing with them and with the bank to deny the charge. Would not recommend at all.

We had the Economy Twin with Private External Bathroom and I wouldn't recommend it. The bathroom has no sink inside so after you leave the restroom you'd have to return to the hotel room to wash your hands. Think about how many surfaces and doorknobs you have to touch before washing your hands? At least install a waterless soap or sanitizer machine inside the restroom. Even portapottys have this as an extra layer of hygiene. Feels like having to take a walk of shame after the most simplest of tasks. Easy fix that would go a long way to keeping the hotel clean of random urine or poop bathroom germs. Also for those of us with disabilities and without, a rack or table and chair would be great to have in the empty space in the shower area since not connected to our rooms we have no places to set down our clothes and shower supplies. Thanks though for adding a small fan since there is no AC. Screens on the windows would be great to enjoy the cool air. Also the restroom needs a white light. The yellow light is too dim to see anything. Beds are comfortable and thank you for the clean bedding. I have more comments and suggestions but this is the gist of it.
