We were staying in EKHO for 4 nights and we loved it! Our room was in the 2nd floor and it was quite big with a big bathroom. Everything was clean and if we needed something it was done immediately. Like laundry or ordering something into the room. The Manager Roshan and his staff was really kind and always helpful - special thanks! Whatever we needed, he solved it within minutes. We had a lot of fun over there and would recommend this place. We came here as a couple and enjoyed a lot, next time we’ll come with friends!

Clean rooms that smelled good. Location is alright, some co-working spaces and restaurants just a few minutes away. Monkeys running around in the garden all day. 5 minute walk to the beginners surf beach. We just walked in without reservation and got a huge discount on the listing price. Would come again!

Average place even though the service is good and the manager Roshan is lovely. Would need serious maintenance. No TV in the room and the rooms are really average. This is a bed and breakfast.

I would not recommend staying at Ekho Weligama. However to start with the positive first: when requested extras (towel, adapter) the staff was very attentive and immediately brought what I needed. The garden is very nicely maintained. Now to the other points: The pictures do not represent the current state the rooms nor the hotel is in. It is old and very badly maintained: old and dirty furniture, moldy rooms, color going off the walls, not able to lock the doors properly, cockroach in the room and and and… The second night they “cleaned” the room next to mine until 2:30 am in such a loud manner, even after telling them to please be quiet. Furthermore, the location on Google and Apple Maps do not represent the actual location of the hotel. It is located on the very boarder of Weligama. The management knows about all these problems, however still charges a rip-off price for the rooms.
