The guy at the reception with black hair, glasses and beard was the most unfriendly person encountered so far in a hotel. If you see no one at the reception just know he is in the back room maybe finishing an episode of something and he will come to check you in afterwards. The room was not 4 stars for sure, 3 stars maximum. Standard room, shower head seemed dirty, water was flowing around it. Breakfast in basement, not worth it. You need to take the metro to get to city center if you do not want to get tired before you start visiting something. We were in Bratislava and Prague before and 3 stars hotels had better rooms than here. We got Nespresso coffee machine in a 3 star hotel here not even something to boil water with. We regret visiting Viena this year for Christmas mostly because of this location. I cannot reply below your response so I will reply here, there are more people complaining about your staff. I don’t think you only receive positive reviews about the staff.

Great hotel in the heart of Stephanplatz! This hotel is about 3 minutes walk from the metro or St Stephan Cathedral We opted to get the hotel breakfast as we checked in on Christmas Day and was not sure if anything was open. To our surprise, there was quite a good range available with the buffet- hot and cold options, lots of pastries, fruit, salad, cheese & cold meats section. The lady that served us was very efficient! The room itself was spacious enough and was quite modern. The only downside was the open plan windows without any curtains ( with a great view of the cathedral tower). We really didn't need to worry because the sun didn't really come up until we were well and truly awake As we were close to the main Stephanplatz square, there were lots of restaurants and bars, shopping centre to choose from Definitely recommend this hotel!

Rooms were very clean and nice. Breakfast was on very nice level and staff made it even better. Staff on RECEPTION was not frendly at all, very low comunication skills and quite unprofessional. Sitting on reception chair with leg on reception??? Waiting every time for more than 5 minutes until they come from back office.No smiling and asking a simple, basic hospitality questions is just unacceptable.
