We spend 3 nights and i must say that everything was excellent, the staff is really friendly, the location of the hotel is quite close to everything. As for the room, the view is amazing, and the bath spa was nice too. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that wants to visit Istanbul and to have the most amazing view from their room.

I wanted a hotel that was central to Istanbul, close to ferries and public transport. The Etiz Hotel was perfect for our needs. We stayed here in room 502 for four nights. The room was large, neat and well maintained with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was functional and clean. The reception staff we good and helpful. The views were spectacular and the room had great ventilation, pop the windows open and you get a lovely breeze. The AC was excellent. There are a large number of stairs to go up to get to the hotel from the main road, but it's Istanbul and there are staircase streets everywhere. I'm 60 years old, I have mobility issues and I twisted my ankle badly on our first day, but I could still negotiate the stairs with out drama. The stairs are wide and there is plenty of opportunity to go slow and rest if you need to. Taxis and Uber won't come to the hotel due to the narrow street access, however if you get an airport transfer they will get you to the top of the stairs where reception will meet you. Uber and Taxis will meet you down on street level. When we checked out reception help us get our three suitcases down to street level, one weighed 35kg, in about 3 minutes where we met or Uber driver. Go down the stairs to street level and turn left you'll find a lovely cafe for breakfast, you'll pass by the underground train that will take you up to up to Taksim Square, the top end of Istikal Street. If you turn to the right there is a lovely Kebab shop. You are close to the main ferry terminal and a tram stop. Would I stay here again, in a heart beat, we loved the place.

The hotel staff were very friendly and flexible where they accommodated all of our requests including moving to a higher floor, early check-in, and late check-out.

The room was perfect for our short stay. It had working air conditioning, decent space, nice and clean as well as a kettle with tea and coffee. The staff were also very friendly and helpful providing us information on locations and things to do. They actually carried all the luggage (2big ones and 2 small ones) for us up and down the stairs, we can't say thank you enough for that.
