We’ve been a lot of Hotels here in Qatar, but this one is superb👌. The moment you enter you can see the luxury of the hotel. Absolutely loved the hotel! Everything is perfect. Breakfast was great and the pool area was fabulous. If you are looking for amazing stay fairmont says it all. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

This is one of the worst hotels I ever been considering cost / quality ratio. The investment to build the hotel is clear. Gold plated and shiny. The service and keeping the room are not good. The breakfast is below any minimum expectations. The room pretends to be modern and digital. Though ipad doesn’t work to control anything. The “automatic” toilet flushes by itself 10 times a night. The light and curtain controls do not work properly. I stayed right before the NY celebrations and looks like will stay for the NY night. The given room was advertised by the reception lady as the one I can see fireworks from. I attach the view from this room. The windows are not clean at all and the view is to the construction site. The breakfast has almost no selection of hot dishes except some sausages. In good quality hotels it means they provide the table menu with hot options. They do. 10 types of eggs and toppings, plus toasts and pancakes. Looks like there is a good variety. I ordered egg royal. And got one (1) egg. One. There are minor things that you need to request through the room keeping - bottled water doesn’t get replaced, toiletries are not refilled, etc. All in all - complete disappointment. Do not recommend for the price paid.

I recently stayed at Fairmont Doha and wanted to share my experience. The concierge team and outside valet were exceptional, creating a warm welcome. Despite a rocky start with various issues, Alex, the night Duty Manager, handled them swiftly and professionally. His dedication to guest comfort truly stood out and made our stay delightful. Alex is undoubtedly a true asset to your team. His exceptional professionalism and swift handling of various issues during my stay at your hotel made a significant positive impact. His commitment to guest satisfaction and comfort is commendable, and he truly enhances the overall guest experience at your establishment. Thank you for having such a valuable team member. On the downside, the breakfast experience fell short. Staff lacked training, with dirty cutlery and a surprising absence of orange juice after 10 AM. The service seemed inconsistent based on guest profiles, and I observed preferential treatment for aggressive guests, which was unprofessional. However, the dining experience at Masala Library Doha was outstanding. Loknath Bon provided the best waiter service, demonstrating an excellent understanding of flavors. The gym and spa staff were friendly, and the facilities were impressive, especially with the sea view from the gym. The housekeeping team was also commendable. While there were some disappointments, such as the breakfast service, the overall design and beauty of the hotel make it recommendable for families. Thank you to the Fairmont Doha team for a mixed but memorable stay.

Spent 2 nights at the Fairmont. As you would expect from the brand and the price, the hotel is excellently appointed and overall a very impressive building. The rooms are top class, as were the restaurants on 1st and 34th floors. The only problem with our stay was that outside of the restaurants you just cant get any service around this hotel which is well below expectations for a five-star hotel and particularly the Fairmont. Morning - Dial '0' for help with coffee machine and TV not working - no one comes. Go to the pool. No-one will approach to offer service at the pool sunbeds, after an hour go looking for someone with then lifeguard's help to get water and a menu. Subsequently, no one will continue to come and ask if you want any service. Late Afternoon - Return to room to find it hasn't been cleaned and no towels for a shower even with the 'clean my room' light on. Dial '0' for help with coffee machine and TV not working - no one comes. Early Evening - Dial '0' for help with coffee machine and TV not working - no one comes. Go for a walk to the promenade and suffer a 10 minute interrogation from security when you try to re-enter the path to the hotel (even after showing room key), eventually insists you can only re-enter from car ramp at front so wifes handbag can be scanned. Tell him to get lost and enter anyway. Evening - Dial '0' for help with coffee machine and TV not working - no one comes. Order a bottle of wine from room service (no food) and wait 45 minutes for it to arrive. Next morning you can complain twice more about tv and coffee and they eventually someone does turn up to put coffee beans in the machine (but gave up with the TV). On check-out, informed they hadn't actually put a hold on my credit card but charged it at check-in by mistake, no sincere apology, have no choice but to pay on my credit card. Didn't even ask how our stay was. Just said bye. There are very good aspects to this hotel, particularly the quality of the building and rooms, but If you are going to a hotel to relax for a few days you will find the service very annoying. Perhaps it is because they are busy hosting conferences/business functions that no-one is attending to the guests, not sure.
