Looks like some other comments regarding owner’s attitude are valid. Everything was ok at the beginning until he told me that he locks the gate at 1am. I asked for a key in this case as was going out with friends and expected to be back later than that. He refused and instructed me that at 1am I should be sleeping 😂 If you want to feel like 15 years old again definitely this is the place for you! If you prefer to be independent and being able to come back to the room that you are paying for at the time you want (and not the owner) better find other place. After having some arguments with him I just left. Came back after 1am and indeed the gate was locked. Ok. After using a door bell he appeared in few minutes but come on… how can you let your guests waiting outside in the middle of the night! What about health and safety? In case of fire while you are trapped inside you have to call the owner to come and open the gate for you? Not sure what time he opens the gate but if you are early bird this might not be the place for you neither! Ok it was clean, there was a kitchen you could use but… in my room there was only a tiny window so overall I really regret staying there.

From the moment we arrived at the Hostel the owner was trying to cancel our Booking.com reservation; as he said better to contact directly with us (me, my friend) and so he canceled it. When Booking.com requested to confirm whether we staid at the hostel or not we confirmed so. Therefore he showed us a message from Booking.com saying that he will bear the commission. He made us pay the whole commission which was GEL128 extra. We stayed for 4 days only and they didn’t clean the room once. Room was having a lot of insects as it was in the middle of the old city and no cleaning. No professional treatment for example; it was saying in Booking.com that washing machine available; when we asked for it he said “one washing for GEL10”. Ceiling is very light and we were hearing all his footsteps upstairs from morning and waking up a lot. We tried their breakfast for two days and it was very good. Hospitality was fair enough at the beginning but everything changed after the money issue mentioned above knowing that we paid all money he requested. Not professional and don’t recommend.

really great service - the owner received us in the early morning as our flight was arriving around 3am. he was waiting for us as our uber arrived and showed us everything in the room. the breakfast that you can add was home made.
