My bed was comfortable, and for the location, surprisingly quiet. Being able to sleep well while traveling is the most important thing for me, so I was quite happy. It's a great location for a beach/boardwalk holiday and two parking spaces were provided per room booked. This is critical near the beach. We were hosting our son's wedding (with many people, cars and logistics). In the process we lost a set of car keys which meant we left a vehicle in their lot after it should have been moved. Even so, they allowed us to keep our cars in the their parking lot after check-out the next day, giving us time to host our out of town guests. The best things about this motel are location, price, comfy bed, and quiet at night. It is a well used motel needing cosmetic upgrades, improved cleaning and maintenance. However, these things take a back seat compared to the willingness of the staff to make accommodations for their guests and the positives I've listed. We would definitely stay again. Thank you, Fireside Inn.

Man the room sucked. And it was too hard to breathe. Too much spray in the room. The person who checked me in was terrible and pushy and definitely not cut out for the motel game. The window had no screen. The man told me to leave the window open to air it out. I have a 2 year old that would of thrown everything in the room out the window. We relocated since the motel was that bad

I recently stayed at this hotel and found it to be a pleasant experience overall. The reception staff were notably friendly and helpful, which set the tone for my stay. One of the standout features of the hotel was the complimentary parking, which is particularly significant in this area where parking can be both scarce and expensive. While the hotel was clean, it could use some renovation work here and there to improve its overall appearance. The furnishings may not be up to date, but they were all acceptable and functional. If you are expecting a Hilton or Hyatt level of luxury, this may not be the place for you. That being said, the hotel is quite cost-effective, providing good value for the price. In summary, I would rate my stay at this hotel as "good." It may not be the most luxurious or modern option, but it offers friendly service, free parking, cleanliness, and acceptable furnishings at an affordable price. Keep in mind that some renovation work could be beneficial, but overall, I would recommend it to travelers who are looking for a comfortable and budget-friendly stay without the need for high-end amenities.
