I didn't like that we had no instructions on the fact that you have to lock the lock was inside out, you pay 50c for toilet paper even though that should be included in the payment and shouldn't cost anything. I've been to many hotels and this one is the only one I know that does as well as you don't get any service to the room you have to basically do everything and there's no fan in the bathroom. If you go in summer I don't suggest going here. The bed was very uncomfortable and the bathroom is extremely tight. Not much space at all. If you want things cleaned they don't do room service each day like other hotels either. And they close at 1pm. We won't be in Brisbane for a few years now but when we do I think we may go somewhere else. The place is decent and does what is necessary but very average. Tv isn't modern to so no YouTube or Netflix if your expecting it.

The apartment is spacious but there are significant concerns about hygiene and it’s features: - there are plenty of cockroaches and we had to get a surface spray to address the problem ourselves - the joinery looks tired and old - the bathroom cold tap does not work properly, the water comes and goes - the mattress is uncomfortable - when the customer service personnel was informed about the cockroach issues, he remarked the room was newly renovated/upgraded. I was most surprised by his remarks as the apartment has water stained marks on the floor boards, the bathroom is grotty and the joinery is old with the surface peeling. - throughout the 6 days of stay, there is no room service to change linen or towels. $140/night for a room of this quality may not be reasonable.

The apartments are clean and comfortable - the bathroom could use a refresh and was a bit tight. Service was ok - One little square face towel given (not even a proper hand towel in the bathroom). No paper towels / kleenex box to wipe surfaces in the kitchen. I had to call and ask for housekeeping and the reception didn't seem too keen on offering that. Good location and decent price for the apartment size and cleanliness but don't think it's a four-star (around 3 or 3.5)

Forget about the WIFI. It’s free because it’s non-existent and NEVER WORKS. Reception will tell you to ring the provider (Freedom I think) who will give you the run around with “I’ll reconfigure the router and open some ports etc” or a call back system where they don’t call you back but send you a text a few hours later saying: “Hi. Thank you for contacting the Freedom Internet support line. We are sorry if we were unable to attend to your concern at the time of your call due to high call volume. Please contact us again if you still need assistance. “ If you need wifi stay somewhere else. Otherwise, you’ll find this a reasonable place to stay although a bit tired in places (a lot of bits are a bit old and tired e.g. bathtub, old bed sheets etc) but for the price compared to others around the CBD it’s not bad price wise. Would suggest the owners of this establishment either get a better internet provider or remove Wi-Fi from the sales pitch.
