I don’t usually write long reviews, but I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Mr. Lyon Ye and the mechanic guy (unfortunately we forgot to ask his name) for their outstanding service. My leg brace suddenly broke when we arrived at the hotel. Far away from our country, we had no idea how to get it fixed, but Mr. Lyon Ye immediately approached and assisted us. He appointed their mechanic who is very attentive to our room, right away repaired and adjusted my leg brace. While, Mr. Lyon Ye even help to bring it back to our room. Both of them, and also the entire staff are so great in accommodating our needs. Nice hotel with Excellent hospitality! We really enjoy our stay here and sure, will come back next time! Thank you so much.. -Luk HM- PS : Thought it would be temporary repair, but few weeks has passed and I’m still using the leg brace repaired by your mechanic, very convenient. He did his job very well.

Staff are great. Friendly, helpful and speak English way better than I speak Mandarin. Rooms aren't as big or as well appointed as the nearby Ritz-Carlton. Smaller overall, with single sink bathroom. Poor usb charging and plug options.. there is an aftermarket charger with a super bright LED (not great for sleeping) on one bedside table with PD 45w ports. 2 phones were plugged in, only one charged. Room was otherwise dark. Aircon did not lower to the 18 degrees set on the temperature control. Bed was fine. Non-smoking hotel...? No, apparently not. The last person (or several!) smoked in the room. It stinks. How about some smoke alarms and serious fines? A grandpa literally walked into the foyer smoking and no staff noticed! The WeChat app is used for too much and it just plain sucks. We failed to join as members upon check in, I gave up after several attempts. Also found we could not use it to order room service - 1. QR code does not automatically register to your room 2. It looked successful and closed after placing the order, but we could not see details. Upon calling room service, they didn't receive the order. Went back into the app and started to order again - found orders still in cart. 3. It requires entering several peices of personal information upon checkout, even when selecting to charge the room. 4. App would not accept my -CHINA- phone number in any format! We had to call room service to manually place the order...

Great location if you take high speed rail. About 10 minutes from HK border. Fabulous St Regis bar( 500m above the city) is next door. Convention center is close as well. Hotel is very well appointed. Staff is very friendly and kind. Interestingly, the FOUR SEASONS around the corner was same price but included breakfast! Food is good. Bar and club level both close relatively early at midnight. Room is spacious. Only one side of bed had electrical outlets. And no side had USB parts. Outlets in general are a rare commodity in the room. But it was the first room in quite some time that had an actual walk in closet. Door man was very helpful. Overall a very nice place. One BIG minus: the bar offers PILSNER URQUELL- the only brewery I know that guarantees it’s beer gets shipped in air conditioned containers. That is why I usually drink it abroad, since overseas beer can often be cooked/ skanky. The beer they offered me ( at 55RMB- which turns after fees, etc to 79 RMB) was not PILSENER URQUELL. It was some bizarre sweetish brew. I asked and confirmed it was what I ordered. The hotel is offering some weird brew but nit a well hopped Pilsener.

Took the HSR from HK West Kowloon to Futian station (14mins ride) and Futian Shangri-la was right at the station's doorstep! How convenient. We stayed at an executive suite and deluxe city view room during our stay. Rooms were spacious and clean. Thank you for the Wedding Anniversary surprise! The Executive Suite offered a superb view of the Light Show. It was amazing. Great breakfast options at Cafe Zen. We tried their dinner buffet too and was wowed by the variety. Shang Garden offers an exquisite dining experience. We were lucky enough to try the Chef's lamb and fish speciality pot. It was truly unforgettable. Stellar Service at Cafe Zen and Shang Garden. Am so glad we had the opportunity to dine there. I wish to thank Mr Lyon Ye for his help when we encountered problems with the thermostat in our room. He promptly (and personally) saw that the problem was rectified. Thanks to their staff (esp the friendly housekeeper on level 31 to the Concierge who arranged our transport), we had a great time at Futian Shangri-la.

Beautiful and cozy hotel. Very nice place to stay. Comfy bed, room and bathroom are spotless clean. There is a minimart called family mart near this hotel ( 2 minutes by walking ). Surrounded by 2 big malls.. lots of eateries inside those malls. ( approx. 5 minutes by walking) All staffs are friendly and accommodating. Overall we do have a nice stay at this hotel. Thank you for giving us such a nice holiday.
