We chose the Gastwerk as hotel for our wedding guests. A big thank you to the reservation and reception team who supported us during the planning and on the day perfectly. All our guests loved their rooms, the service, breakfast buffet and cocktails at the bar. The hotel Gastwerk was a perfect choice for us to have a comfortable home during an exciting wedding weekend.

Stayed here for 4 nights in June. Rooms were perfectly clean and modern (though I found the pillows to be a little too soft), and the hospitable concierge were more than happy to help with anything. Although there was no swimming pool, guests are able to exercise in a gym nearby at a discounted price, or entertain themselves at the pool table on the first floor. The breakfast here is a standard buffet, including what you would normally expect: cold cuts, bread, cheeses, drinks and some hot food etc. Costs 24 euros and is open from 6:30 to 13:00 on weekends. Would highly recommend for those looking for a comfortable stay in Hamburg.

Stayed here during a recent work conference, very stylish industrial chic hotel with very spacious rooms and great facilities. The hotel ran a very smooth conference with a good lunch choice, plenty of coffee and beers and lots of space in the conference room and adjoining atrium. My room was very spacious with a large very comfy bed and sofa area for working. The only slight negative was the lack of car park space but it was busy when I arrived.

The hotel itself is amazing ! A great architectural achievement very inspiring to visit and amazing to sleep in. The service is cold , most people “doing a favour” for helping you (but not all , some where very nice) . Breakfast was quite good with wide variety of fish and great buffet. Here again few were nice but others were just impolite , could not wait and started packing everything 10 minutes before end time. They do have nice parking very close if you come by car. Their cynical reply … great example :)
