Nice hotel in Beirut. Helpful staff, relatively clean rooms. Breakfast is continental. Dinner was very good, different meals each day, from local food to lasagna. You can also change money at the reception at good rate, considering the monetary situation in Lebanon these days...

I can’t even begin to describe this place. I arrived late at night and it took about 20-30 min to the receptionist to pay me any mind. He was fluffing around with another guest and left me standing. The shower is an absolute joke. As is the gym. There are two treadmills from probably the 90’s and a weight lifting machine that’s a finger snap away from collapsing. The floor is disgusting and there was a room in the back full of wrappers and a full ashtray. The lady “managing” the gym came in and I asked for a yoga mat, and she gave me a thin bed cover to put on the floor and work out. One of the nights I came back to my room to a two inch big roach ( not exaggerating). The location is not bad but in an area full of bars so if you’re staying on a lower floor you might not be able to rest. Breakfast is super average and the coffee machine wasn’t working and the coffee served was very basic. I had something to iron and there was no ironing table and or iron in the cupboard. I called reception and they hung up on me twice ( assuming they didn’t speak English). A lady called me back and spoke pretty harshly and told me that they only had laundry service ( which makes me think they purposely removed the ironing kit to make you pay for the service). The safe lock was stuck so there was no way to close it. The Internet is super bad and you’ll find yourself stretching for better reception. Highly unrecommend. Oh and my friend tried to book a taxi to the airport through the reception; they wanted to charge her 25$, when the Uber cost 9$.

Central location in the very heart of Hamra. The room was ok for one night, but would require more attention to details like cleaning (especially bathroom), TV was not working.
