One of the most beautiful views I’ve even seen (from the top floor). The location is so convenient only a 3 minute walk to surfers paradise tram station and 5 minute walk to the beach. It’s quiet, relaxing and spacious. The beds were clean neatly made and comfortable. Bathrooms were very clean. The heated pool and spa were so nice. Games room wasn’t bad. I really enjoyed my stay here the only negative feedback I could suggest was the cleanliness of some of the kitchen ware and that’s all. I highly recommend this place for short holiday stays.

Just stayed here and they didn't advise us that there would be renovations in the apartment above us, was like a jack hammer all day for 3 days. Had lights smash all over the floor, Absolutely awful. I'm Absolutely livid as they didn't have the courtesy to advise us, apologise or even acknowledge it. I paid to stay somewhere to rest and relax and that definitely was not possible here. Couldn't recommend to anyone based on the lack of communication, thought or planning.

This place would have to be the worst I have ever stayed at!! We booked it through an Airbnb & when we came they asked us for a withholding deposit even though no Airbnb does that. The manager Colin was rude & didn’t welcome us well. The rooms weren't cleaned at all from previous people. The photos on the website are nothing compared to what you receive, false advertising in a big way. No security as none of the sliding doors locked and that’s how the insects keep coming in. There is insects and mice everywhere, I couldn’t sleep the bedsheets are dirty and smell damp like they were never washed before. When we complained, they gave us winter blankets instead of replacing all bedsheets and cleaning the place. The host knows this about his accommodation and denies it. They denied to provide a refund. I really don't know how this business is allowed to keep providing this kind of disgusting accomodation to people and get away with it. What was meant to be a relaxing holiday turned out to be a nightmare and alot more money than we expected due to having to get somewhere else .

The cleanliness of the room is the main issue I have with genesis. The rooms felt disgusting, with extra pillows and blankets smelling dull and feeling like nothing was cleaned. My pillow literally, I am not even joking, literally smelt like someone wiped their behind on it. I thought I was hallucinating when I asked my friends to smell it and they were immediately concerned. The towels that were given also felt dirty and unclean and no extra towels were provided. The cutlery and food ware (bowls, plates, pans, etc), were disgusting and felt very unclean. The ironing board was broken on arrival and disgusting. The roof was also dirty and the ceiling was peeling. This place lacks general cleanliness that should be present when you stay somewhere. It just didn’t feel like a safe or clean place to stay, which is not what you want on your holiday. To be honest I would prefer to stay at that shack across the road and that looks like a health risk.
