The staff were just wonderful. They were really good fun. The rooms were clean. Pool area nice. I was gutted to leave based on the staff alone. They couldn’t have done more for us. If I’m ever back I’ll absolutely be staying there again. Those guys deserve a pay rise!

Such a lovely place to stay, the staff are so accomodating and just so kind, you could chat with them all day! The nicest people we have come across on our travels so far. You can also do laundry here and rent bikes for the day. Would highly reccomend:)

Hi I have just finished my stay at the amazing gili breeze tropical. The location was perfect it was just off the beaten track but a two minute walk to the beach and restraunts. Making it perfect and abit more quieter at night. The rooms where always clean and tidy (you could have them cleaned every day if wanted which the staff made very clear. Now to the service! Which was 5 STARRR. I have never felt more welcome or more at home! I came over to visit my little boy who lives here with his mum and they made feel like I was living at home away from home. The staff were amazing…. They even went out to get me ice and a coconut at one point as we were talking about the right kinda coconut I needed for my hangover 😂. The manager could not do enough what a lovely guy. I hope this review helps you make the right choice in your stay in gili. I stayed in a few different places but this one tops them all. Thanks again to the amazing team! See you in June!

Before booking there I wish I could read this kind of review, take time to read our experience before booking: I stayed 4 nights and I don’t recommend at all this accommodation. Firstly I’m gonna start with the positive, the staff is very nice and helpful. Now I have to be honest and for the price of the night (almost 100$ in high season) you can clearly find better. The most disappointing is the location. In fact it’s near the main street but mostly near a mosque and how to say… it is as if the prayer is with you in your room. And when he is starting to pray at 4:45am it’s just unbearable. Whether you’re a light or heavy sleeper it will wake you up for sure (and even if the staff give you ear plug). Regarding the room it’s just okay, it’s a little wooden house that’s explain why it is so noisy. They give you towels but ours were dirty with strange stains. The shower is hot only 1 minute (maybe 2 minutes if you’re lucky). At the swimming pool the mattress are dirty too. And one more time for the price of the night you deserve clean stuff. This accommodation worths at maximum 35$ / per night. Far away from the current price. So advice for the staff: either you have to lower your price or increase the quality of your service.
