This is a great, moderate hotel in an amazing location. Literally a 5 minute walk from Hagia Sofia and the Blue Mosque, and the local Bazaar (not the Grand Bazaar but a very nice one). Lots of restaurants nearby. It’s close to the tourist areas, so this area might be a little more expensive, but well worth it for the location. I was there on the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey. There were hundreds of navy ships coming into Istanbul during the day and several 3-plane fly-overs right above my balcony. This added to the amazing location and experience! The room was without doubt the best in the hotel (Room 506). It had a huge balcony overlooking the street and a nice view of the Water. The service was very accommodating. The room was large and the bathroom was a nice size, although not a lot of counter space. Highly recommend for a short stay!

Very poor experience due mainly by Agoda / Priceline misrepresenting the advertised room but not helped by the hotel either. Despite booking a room for 2 adults and 2 children with breakfast included, Agoda's confirmation showed only 2 adults and no breakfast. When I arrived at the hotel I was told that this happens frequently with Agoda bookings and apparently they were going to ban Agoda / Priceline. My gripe is I emailed the hotel as did Agoda requesting the correct beds but they chose to ignore and waited for me to arrive at the hotel to give me a lecture. In fairness, they did provide the extra beds but hearing the person moaning about who is going to pay for the extra electricity used by the additional child isn't what I wanted after a long flight. In addition, he knew that Agoda had misold the booking as he said breakfast wouldn't be included and would cost an additional 10E per adult with a discount for children. The other staff at the hotel were very pleasant, especially Hugo when I checked out, but unfortunately the first impression of the chap who checked us in was very negative. They know there are problems with Priceline / Agoda so surely they should resolve this with them instead of confronting guests on arrival. The fact they confirmed this is a common tactic makes you wonder why they don't sort it out. The hotel's location is very good for the main tourist sites but it is on a busy road. The in-room dining prices are catered for tourists so I didn't pay 4 Euros for a cappuccino. Only 2 bottles of water were provided for the first night only and the rest is charged which again was unexpected and wasn't mentioned on the booking. The room itself was smaller than expected and dated and certainly not a reflection of the pictures on the Agoda website. If you do book via Priceline or Agoda, a refundable would be advised so that you can cancel when you get the booking confirmation and realise they have missed out breakfast or occupants. If in the UK, paying by credit card will also be advisable in the case of problems so you can claim against the bank. Lots of much better hotels to choose from in Istanbul and I won't be staying her again.

I recently stayed here with my wife and daughter for 12 nights, and I could not be happier with the excellent service and the wonderful and helpful staff. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Kadir and Nejati at the front desk, Hussein at the hotel restaurant, and the wonderful cleaning ladies were always present to make our stay extra special. We definitely recommend this hotel not only for it's excellent service and quality, but also for it's close vicinity to major attractions in Fatih. We will come back and stay here again.

I stayed for 4-nights in the hotel with my family. The hotel was good and staff were very very very friendly. I booked a Premium Suite - 2 Bedrooms connected. Rooms were good in general but they need some maintenance. The bed in my room was comfortable and bathroom was very simple. So is the room for my kids. But I had few issues. I had an issue with the main door for the suite as it was open all the time, without needing a key. I requested it to be fixed a couple of times. I had another issue in the bathroom for kids room. The water diverter wasn't working in the shower so they only used it as a tub. But whenever I needed anything, staff were helping and very friendly. They were greeting us whenever we leave and come back again everyday. The night shift manager even gave us advise on what restuarants to visit in the evening and how to politely avoid dealing with shops pushing you to enter their places and buy stuff and gifts from them. Location is great. Aya Sofia, Sultan Ahmet Mosque and Topkapi palace are all within 10 minutes walking distance. Many restuarants, cafes and shops are close by. If you are looking for a busy area with many activities around you, this is a very good location. In general, I had a good stay and recommend the place for small families.
