Our reservation was unexpectedly cancelled three days prior to our scheduled arrival, citing the hotel's lack of readiness to accommodate guests during our intended stay. Consequently, we were redirected to an alternative hotel within the same company, namely Abelonas Retreat. However, it is worth noting that Abelonas Retreat fell significantly below the standards of the original hotel we had initially booked. Nevertheless, the staff at Abelonas exhibited exceptional friendliness and kindness. What added to our frustration was the discovery that Golden East, the hotel we were originally supposed to stay at, was available for booking on our arrival day, despite their prior claim of unavailability due to maintenance issues.

This is a great place to relax and enjoy the beautiful island of Santorini without having to stay in a busy town. The rooms are very large, beautiful and comfortable, the breakfast is generous, the pool is heavenly and the service is outstanding. It is just a few minutes walk from one of my favourite views of the caldera (really high up) and the town of Imerovigli, which has very nice cafes, bars and restaurants and is much quieter than Fira. Will certainly come back!

I stayed at this hotel for a fortnight in August 2021 and can absolutely confirm all the positive comments. The facility is very clean and tidy. The hostess Nataly and her family constantly take care of the guests and are incredibly friendly and helpful. You have a lot of contacts and can organize car or yachting tours straight away. The complex is quite central, so that one can reach Oia, Fira, Perissa and Kamari Beach by car in about 20 minutes. The pool is the highlight of the hotel, you have a great view of the sea. On the whole, I would give 100 stars if it were possible. Thank you Nataly!

Great value for money, the loveliest & friendliest of owners who can't do enough to help you. Room included a Greek mobile phone so we could order a taxi or food etc. Views are superb of the sunrise and it has a lovely pool area. Just a 5 minute walk from the other side of the island with views over the Volcano caldera and only 15 minutes walk into Imerovigili. Loads of parking spaces for a car or ATV and bread, jams and coffee & tea left out after every clean - which is everyday with fresh towels and sheets. Room doesn't have a hob or communal cooking facilities so it is limited self catering.
