The good things: nice view and good location. The bad things: the worst value hotel I have stayed at in south east Asia. The rooms are old and tired and look very cheap. There are no windows. The breakfast is average and the staff would have to be reminded of what to bring each time. There were ants in the room. The hotel staff took the keys to park the bike inside the hotel area for security but then used those keys (without asking) to run an errand on the bike. Random strangers socks appeared in my room. The laundry was returned wet. They didn't have a card reader at the hotel, drove off to find one, then didn't know how to use it and then tried to negotiate with me a tiny discount if cancelled the Agoda review so checkout took forever. I don't know how this hotel can charge up to 70 USD a night. I think it dines out on its location... Strongly recommend not staying here.

Good location, great service. Nice view from balcony where breakfast is brought to you order as much as you like. Clean room with cable TV English speaking channels. Nice shower. Close to center but quiet. Restaurants close by.

The room was very clean and nicely appointed. There was a balcony with a view to the river. A very nice breakfast was served on the balcony each morning. The young man who looked after us was very friendly and helpful and always obliging.

The location is fine and the rooms are forcibly comfortable enough if you are on a night's stay or so but here are some things we hate. 1. Staff looks like you owe them money and as if they were all forced to work there. Very rude and unfriendly, especially since Lao people are usually kind. 2. The rooms are not the cleanest and the worst... 3. The staff stole our money. We talked to them and they said we had no proof but we know they did, one of their housekeeping staff we suspect... but as there was no proof we couldn't do anything about it.
