Really bad service, NOT SAFE, no hot water, broken shower broken windows, itchy. Staff entered my room without knocking before checkout saying we had checked out but it was not even time yet. NO APOLOGY for this intrusion and a woman in this room alone can you imagine how scary this was, someone dressed in street wear just entering your room, and they still wanted to charge us EXTRA instead of compensating us. Rooms look clean at first but things are broken.
Windows wouldn't close so it is very cold and loud. There is no hot water, only lukewarm water so it is very cold showers considering the windows don't close. My travel companions in another room also had this problem. Had to actually go somewhere else to pay to wash my hair because it would have been too cold. Shower wouldn't drain and someone had to come fix it. We were promised early check in and they did not honor it saying that they never said that even though we showed them the email. There is loud banging throughout the night starting 4am or earlier and goes on for hours. We were also promised adjoining rooms, and even at check in they confirmed this even though the room numbers did not appear to be, they assured us it was adjoining rooms as we were checking in and the rooms ended up being on opposite sides of the floor. They are such liars. Fridge is also broken and I did not realize, spoiling my food. The electricity turns off if you are not in the room so I was not able to charge my devices while I was out for coffee to prepare for the day. Fabrics are itchy. The hard lock also does not work so it does not feel safe. Worst of all, while they give no discount for the problems we had, they charged us for key card replacement and would not waive it even with all the problems. The most frustrating thing is they did not apologize or see any fault on their end.
Horrible customer service, do not come here, THEY WILL ENTER YOUR ROOM WITHOUT PERMISSION. AVOID.

When we got there, we were told to wait for someone (probably the manager) to come.
The place had a "problem", so we couldn't get our rooms.
They could have warned us with a message before we got there, but didn't.
We were sent to another hotel (at least the taxi was paid for us), and left there alone.
Both the rooms and the new hotel were not on par with what we had booked. They wouldn't upgrade our rooms to the same level of comfort without paying extra (not their fault, they're just reception staff with limited power).
We had to call the booking site to handle the situation and get a refund.
Given the way we were discarded, I wouldn't recommend this place.

The hotel is good, but the pool needs to be cleaned, otherwise there are flakes of dirt floating in the corners, and I wanted the view from the window NOT to be a garbage dump, because now there is a lot of garbage there, although the banana trees are beautiful, this needs to be cleaned. No breakfast due to renovations
