Positives: the size of the room, it wasn't too noisy from the outside considering it's central, location was good. Negatives: very run down, pretty much every piece of furniture was ripped/broken. Air con was broken. No lift and our room on the top floor I think was 8 sets of stairs. The shower was broken and ran at different temperatures. The smell from the drain in the shower was awful. You can feel every spring in the mattress. You can hear every tiny noise the neighbouring rooms made (doors closing & foot steps). Overall OK for the one night we stayed but if had the option for elsewhere I wouldn't stay again...

We had a reservation for 6 months with Booking and confirmed by the Hotel several times, and what is our surprise that on the same day of checking in the receptionist tells us that she does not have rooms, does not offer a solution and cancels it directly in front of us, All this with manners that are far from correct with clients, being 6 adults and 1 minor and without the slightest consideration for the situation that she had caused. The location is not one of the best in London, far from the Metro and Public Transport, walking from the nearest station about 30 minutes. Regarding the cleanliness of the reception, it is far from being a 2-star establishment, in fact it should not have a rating. During the time we stayed, several mice could be seen "walking" along the stairs and the carpet, under the watchful eye of the receptionist who didn't even flinch. Empathy: ZERO Kindness: NONE Facilitate Solutions: NONE It does not deserve the star with which the review is FORCED to be cataloged

Egregious hotel experience. As we were given the keys to our room, a small basement room, there were glue rat traps lining the floor, with no precaution for guests stepping on them. The bed was old, you could feel the springs pushing up on your back. The bathroom was small and cramped, with no space to turn around. The shower was hard to control, and the options were scorching hot water or freezing cold. My daughter became very ill during our trip and discovered that, worst of all, there was mold on our pillows. We brought this to the attention of the hotel staff, who were abrasive, defensive and rude to us. After not apologizing, and not even changing our sheets, the staff refused to solve the situation in any way whatsoever. Then, the receptionist at the front desk had the gall to accuse us of bringing the mold into the hotel. This hotel is UNCLEAN and INHOSPITABLE. They refused to give us any sort of compensation for the room, which we asked for because they did not address the health risk of mold in their rooms. NEVER STAY HERE!!!!
