We had a nice stay. The young men at check in were great. Decor is very nice. Beds were comfortable. We could not really use the common areas due to it being overrun by sorority girls. But luckily it was not loud in the hotel despite being fully booked. Only con for us was the instant coffee in the rooms did not do it for us. Though I liked that it had an electric kettle.. maybe add some tea bags.. I would recommend vibe coffee across the street. It was really good. Overall a pleasant stay. And very close walk to everything.

I would give this hotel a 1 star review, but the hotel had a decent style unique to State College, so I believe it did have some nice aspects. That being said, the hotel is clearly old and the standards we experienced in our room were terrible. Upon arriving at the hotel I noticed dried blood on the bathroom door in droplets and along where the door meets the frame. I also noticed a used tissue shoved in the peephole of our room. Pretty disgusting if you ask me. I went to the front desk and spoke with the supervisor on duty, who offered me to move to another room, which we declined and just asked for housekeeping to clean up while we were out. I was assured that housekeeping would take care of the issues. When we returned I was pleased to see that I no longer had a used tissue shoved into the peephole, but upset when I noticed that the blood was still on the door (picture attached). My wife and I decided to just go to bed but could not sleep because the group of gentlemen in the room next to us were having a loud party and yelling alot. At 12:30am I was so tired of my experience at The Graduate, that my wife and I got our things together and left to drive home, allowing us to get home around two hours later. Needless to say I am more happy about my decision to just drive home than I am about wasting $250 on a room that could not even be cleaned properly and to have obnoxious neighbors well into the morning hours. I will go out of my way to never stay at this establishment again.

I was greeted by Chris and a trainee who were extremely personable. Even though I booked through a secondary website, they gave me a lovely room. The restaurant was adorable and Amanda was just as friendly as reception. I even got a ticket for a complimentary beverage from the bar and a coffee in the AM. Room keys are a great tough amongst the high level of detail in this hotel. Well worth what I paid to stay here. Would absolutely come again.
