We enjoyed our stay here with our immediate family and our extended family. Staff tried to work with our family to get us a number of rooms on the same floor. Be careful of the doors that can slam shut quickly. My son got a door slammed on his finger. We were concerned that his finger was broken but thankfully it was not. Breakfast was good and staff was pleasant. Location was great!

My friend and I stumbled into Gran Hotel after we found out the place we rented was permanently closed. Yessir, the attendant went above and beyond to help us find accommodations elsewhere since they were full for that night. We ended up booking one night there, mainly because we wanted to come back to see Yessir. He was kind, patient and very thorough. The accommodations are clean, and comfortable. And very reasonably priced.

It is NOT a 4-star hotel! Rooms and amenities are like a regular 3-star hotel or worse (no tissues, no storage space, uncomfortable beds, old furniture). The guys at the reception are not very helpful at all and seemed a bit clueless most of the time. At night, it gets very noisy. Also, there is no pool, which we had at our 3-star hotel last year. Breakfast is ok but nothing special. What exactly makes this a 4-star hotel?! It's just laughable. The only really good thing is the location, that's it.

It was a nice stay. Room was stylish clean, airdonditioned and I had a great insulation - no audible street sounds. Staff was very friendly, breakfast was cool, just a bit less options for vegetarian. The location of the hotel is just amazing, 20m of walk from the beach, 5 minutes of walk from metro station and all close sightsees. TV was working, just we have not use it much. I can just highly recomend.

Beware of Hidden Fees and Poor Customer Service! I wish I could give this hotel a zero-star rating due to our extremely disappointing and unfortunate experience. We initially chose this hotel based on its purported affordability and reasonable prices. However, upon closer inspection of our reservation, we discovered an unexpected and exorbitant hidden fee of $439 supposedly for ‘extra guests’, although we had not brought any additional people. We acted promptly and tried to rectify this misunderstanding by immediately canceling our booking. To our utter disbelief, the hotel displayed a blatant lack of respect for customer satisfaction by refusing to refund our money. Their policies and practices are not transparent, leading to confusion and, ultimately, significant financial losses for the unsuspecting customer. I caution all potential patrons to carefully review their reservations. This hotel’s unscrupulous behavior and disregard for customer service standards have made this an experience we will never forget, and certainly not for positive reasons.
