Rooms and spaces within the hotel are very tired and in need of renovations. The staff that we interacted with over the 3 nights weren’t overly friendly either. Given it was so hot when we were there having the pool was fantastic. It’s a nice area and were enjoyed spending time in this part of the hotel. The area that the hotel is really lovely and much quieter than the touristy areas

The hotel is high quality and serves an amazing breakfast buffet. The biggest challenge is that it is a bit of a walk from most of the restaurants (with the good ones being down the hill from here). So some people will find the location a bit remote as there is not even a close by metro station.

First, the staff: Beatrice, Alessandro, Fabrizio, and Arianna all get 5 stars. They were so good to me and patient with my beginner Italian I tried using. Second, the room was perfect for me. 5 stars. Clean with a hot, powerful shower. My windows on the 3rd floor (at my request) opened to views of the "citta" (city) which was nice for the breeze coming in at night (and siren sounds :-). Yes, the location is a bit remote and you have to walk slightly north and then west to get to the amazing restaurants and bridges to other neighborhoods (I walked to the Vatican City and St John's University one day, and the Jewish Ghetto another day--and back). However, walking is what I intended to do because I walked through the non-tourist vias and saw authentic Italian neighborhoods. After my first 2 days, I had the hang of it (the uphill steps were frightening at first but I conquered them) and liked the idea of returning to a quiet hotel at the end of my days (circling that small but lovely fountain that I forget the name of) and see a friendly face behind the counter, all who were more than happy to sell me a Peroni to relax in my room after a hot shower! Highly recommended for singles and couples who want the quiet you won't get in a location closer to nighttime life. Lea Brymer

Beautiful hotel on a pretty nice hill.great trails for walking or biking leading to several unique panoramic views of Rome. The pool makes it perfect if you are traveling with kids, the rooms vary in size, make sure you pick a corner room if you want extra space. Pretty good service, easy to get a taxi and the restaurant food was good with the chef 👨‍🍳 allowing changes to the meals making it perfect for nowadays kids or adults diets. Will be staying over in a week as I am back to Rome for couple of days.
