I haven’t got any chance to stay here yet but my friends did. I requested if the hotel can leave a card for my friends birthday. They even gave more than a birthday card 😊. Such amazing service with a complimentary upgrade to a suit and a birthday cake as surprise. Great room, service and hotel! Thank you so so much for the hospitality. Hotel is ok but it feels old. The rooms are ok, comfortable bed. Breakfast is average. This hotel does not deserve 5 stars and the price.

It was a great place to stay! Centrally located and walking distance to line 1 and line 4 of the subway. Even if you don’t go for the buffet breakfast at the hotel there were plenty of other places to eat nearby. We went to a local place for breakfast for some buns, millet congee and one of the best wonton soups I’ve ever had! Also have coffee at the “luckin coffee” coffee shop. Its way better than the hotel buffet’s coffee. You can also eat around the Xidan shopping strip which is down the road. But be warned many places in China is not foreigner friendly. Certain places don’t accept master/visa card transactions (they dont have the merchant device) especially if you’re going for street food/subway station food. They do accept cash but some places might not have change. Wechat pay and Alipay is the best way to get around. But it is also hard to set up with a foreign card. Just a few things to think about if you plan to travel to China.

Staff was very polite and helpful - plus spoke a good amount of English. I was upgraded to an Executive Floor room which was very spacious but had quite a small TV with poor reception. There also was not TV guide (apart from channel 0 which was hard to read). The breakfast service was in the Exec floor lounge and Angel was great with service, attentiveness and knew my order by the next day - giving a very personalised service. Main restuarant service could improve - I was left waiting for 20 minutes just to catch someone's attention for the bill, but compared to the overall experience this is tiny. Will definitely stay again for business trips - hotel is next to shopping district as well for holiday travellers
