The moment one walks in, there is a whif of mould smell, however overall good stay with basic essentials, hot shower, comfy bed and open air window! There is little noise you can hear from nearing neighbours in the morning but it didn't bother us at all. Affordable and close to eateries :)

Room smelt very badly of smoke. Absolutely freezing and the blanket was very thin and way too small for the bed.

I had a wonderful stay at ha long star light hotel. The service was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was convenient, close to the bay and the city center. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and a nice view. The food was delicious, especially the breakfast with banana pancake. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting ha long
