TERRIBLE. ROOMS SMALL. THE MANAGEMENT WILL take cash ONLY before you see the room. Then when you see room and want your money back they will refuse! AVOID. There are far better places. Must be run by Thieves! See other couple have problem too when we there. This place is bad. Should be zero ⭐

I stayed at the black pearl it was great. Room was clean and comfortable. Great location right near the beach and restaurants easy walk to bangla rd. Staff were awsum B at the reception was very helpful. I will stay there again cant wait.

AS BAD AS IT GETS! PIRATE FLAG on the wall as you go in should be warning. They TAKE your Money IN CASH ONLY ( won't accept cards) before you see the room. And the rooms NOT LIKE PHOTOS!! Some room NOT even a window! Dirty towels, stains on bed sheets. Blood on pillow. Report to Tourist Police. These people refuse to give back any money for room we couldn't stay in. AVOID .!!

Rooms are quite basic/dated but acceptable for the cheap price I paid (only about £12 for a twin room). AC + shower work well though. TV was blurry and room smelt a little stale but you need to accept the price bracket you are in. Staff were friendly and they have a little bar/pool table area downstairs. Location is awesome, 5 minute walk to the beach and right next to a 7/11.

The hotel room was already paid for in advance. The reception insisted that we had to pay cash and that they have not yet received the payment. I checked with my credit provider and they assured me that the payment was processed and not a reserved amount. Either way, ants on the wall, stains on the bedsheets, overall dirty room. When the staff was informed about the stains, she just ignored and said the sheets were new. Just skip this place, worst hotel you’ll experience!
