I'm staying in a Deluxe Room. The room is fantastic, more space than anyone will require. The bed is comfy and it has a big tv screen. The bathroom was very clean. The hotel itself has a lovely bar area, the breakfast is 5 stars and it has a decent pool. My gripes with this particular hotel is that I've just had to collar house keeping as they have skipped my room 2 days in a row now. I don't need much, just clean towels and clean mugs. The second issue is they hosted a Hand Ball teams event, and some of those from that party had a literal rave in the room opposite until gone 1am on a weekday. For a 'leader in luxury hospitality' this one is far from it. My experience may be an anomaly, however it doesn't deminish what I witnessed. I'm returning next week for another work trip and I shall update if things improve from my perspective.

A little slower organization, the receptionist does not know if the pool is working, she is not allowed to tell the working hours over the phone 😕. The beds are very comfortable, the location is fantastic, the garage is 35e per day, the parking spaces are a decent size, but the passages to them are very narrow. The breakfast is of high quality, there is something for everyone. The service at breakfast is a little weaker. we were at breakfast twice, once no waiter came during the entire breakfast. The biggest minus is the pool is too cold, the water is cold, it's cold outside the pool. Although the hotel was full, there was never anyone at the pool, the water is icy. for 350e per night without parking and breakfast - you can find better.

Good service from hotel staff in a great location at what would have been a fair price for Hamburg if not for the dated room and noise. That said, they were in the process of a full gut remodel that started too early each day, including below my room (hence my low service rating) so I suspect that a year from now it will be quite nice. The hotel should have been closed for the remodel based on my room noise.

It was a great stay. Breakfast was on the high range price. IMPORTANT: There is a sign in rooms to indicate if the towels should be changed by leaving them on the floor instead of hung up on the racks. We attempted to keep our used towels for longer than 1 day by leaving them on the racks, they kept getting changed no matter what. This is not environment friendly. This could be done better.
