Boutique artsy hotel! Walking distance to old Dubai and Subway stop. A very comfortable Chic Hotel, almost feels five star without the price of five star!! So many fine touches that make you smile. Highly recommend. Went in Nov 2019. It was previously called Zabeel House before the name changed to the current name.

What a fabulous hotel! Clean rooms with comfortable bed. Breakfast was free, delicious and had a good variety Staff is nice. I even had to change my reservation last minute as I landed a day later (2 day flight), and there was no penalty for this change. Walkable to historic downtown Happy surprise- The river is just a few minutes walk away- had my morning coffee walking the river- so nice!! NO CON- This hotel is one of my favorite stays! The location is perfect. The atmosphere and rooms are super fun. The price was amazing. The breakfast buffet even came with the room and was great. I wouldn’t recommend eating there for other Mills though. They advertised buy one get one free pizzas, but wouldn’t honor it and the pizzas were nasty. The only thing that could have made our stay better would be more helpful staff. If you need a cab, don’t wait for them to help you…one will eventually come outside though.

Stayed for 1 night during a layover that did not qualify for Dubai Connect. Good value for money in case one wants to properly exit the airport, freshen up, sleep and walk around before the next flight. 10-15 min taxi ride from/to the Airport and proximity to Al Seef promenade and Creek as well as almost direct access to abras makes the location unbeatable. Rooms rather basic but well done, nicely decorated lobby and corridors and building itself is rather modern. Amenities also very basic, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, I lacked slippers considering the cold stone floor. Breakfast included, but not too broad, almost no sweets except waffles. Check-in and check out were swift, also got a bottle of water for departure, which was a nice touch. Although, was surprised that after I asked for a taxi, they told me to order it myself with Kareem app — I get the point of flexibility, but as a tourist you first need to go through the process of downloading at least, and if one is in a hurry this is rather confusing. No slippers in the room and some problems with flush also spoiled the overall very positive impression a little. But, again, overall a nice budget friendly option for a short but pleasant stay.
