We loved our stay here! The manager/owner gave us great recommendations on hikes in the area! The location is perfect and walkable into town but quiet in the evenings. The room was perfect. We used their complementary bikes to ride to the butterfly beach and it was awesome! Would stay here again and recommend to friends/family! Thanks!

This place is such a gem! My partner and I have stayed here twice with our families and only have good things to say. Rooms are clean and spacious, the people at the front desk are always so kind, and the location is amazing. Things we loved: - Rooms are SUPER clean and modern, but still have lots of character. They also come equipped with lots of extra little amenities that make a big difference, like new dish soap and sponges for the kitchen, makeup remover wipes, etc. - Between our families and ourselves, we've seen 5 of the rooms. The photos on the website are super accurate, which is helpful when you're picky (e.g. some rooms have a bigger bathroom and shower, some have full-service kitchens with a stove, etc.). - Free snacks near the front desk (we're sad that they got rid of their breakfast banana bread, but happy that they still provide fresh fruit and lots of other snacks!). - Only 2-3 minutes from the beach, and 10-15 minutes to downtown by foot. - Parking is always so easy! There's usually ample parking in the courtyard, the larger rooms come with guaranteed parking, and there's also always lots of safe street parking right in front. - Free bike rentals, super fast and easy to get to the beachfront trail from the hotel!

I recently stayed at Harbor House in Santa Barbara and had a fantastic experience. The staff, especially Cody, was incredibly friendly and provided excellent local recommendations. The rooms were well-appointed with everything needed for a week-long stay. A major plus was the complimentary rental of beach towels and bikes, making our trip even more enjoyable. I had a lovely time and will undoubtedly choose Harbor House for all future visits to Santa Barbara.

The location is hard to beat. I stayed in the modern queen studio, and it was extremely comfortable for two people. Customer service was great, and the hotel was quiet, safe and peaceful. I would stay here again without a doubt. Parking might be a little tight during busy season, but I dont think a car is needed in Santa Barbara anyway. Great place. So happy I found it. Best price deal is to book directly through their website.

This was an extraordinary stay, far beyond my expectations. There is so much attention to detail. The quality of the linens, to the appointments and accents, the landscaping, it is like a microcosm of what Santa Barbara so special. Quality, understated elegance, beauty, it is wonderful and rare. This designer is gifted and has given patrons a gift. Harbor House is very special, and a fabulous bargain for the quality.
