Great value hotel based on price, access to key transit lines and overall location. Rarely get such deals in central Tokyo. A very kind and friendly family owned hotel. Rooms are basic and slightly old, but clean and well maintained. Ikebukuro station is 10 minutes of steady pace walk. 2 convenience stores right outside the hotel for morning coffee/breakfast or late night snacks. Loads of good restaurants, cafes and izakayas in between the hotel and the 10 minute walk to Ikebukuro. Ikebukuro is one of the major transit hubs in Tokyo, including access to the important Yamanote line. Means easy access to other parts of the city. Will definitely consider this place next time I'm in Tokyo.

The room is much bigger than many other hotel with private smoking room. Close to few super market and laundry which is very convenient around Ikebukuro. The owner ,Mr. Akihiro and his wife are super friendly and helpful. This was my second time at this hotel.

The nearest exit from Ikebukuro Station is about a 10-minute walk away. There is a coin-operated laundromat and vending machines next to the hotel, and they are very easy to find just opposite Lawson. You can pay with a physical credit card in-store, but electronic payment is not possible. Although there is no elevator, the boss is very nice and helps to move it up. The stairs are not big and it doesn't take too long to walk upstairs. The twin room is spacious, and there is no problem in spreading out the large suitcase. There are tables and chairs, a full-length mirror, and a clothes drying rack in the room. The bathroom is also fully equipped with pajamas. The shower head in the bathroom has a large amount of water and the hot water heats up quickly. Compared with other accommodations in Ikebukuro, the location, room size and price of this one are really cost-effective. But because it is a hotel run by a husband and wife, there is no one at the counter 24 hours a day. If you have an emergency, you can only call. Even at night, the door on the first floor will not be locked. The key to the room is a traditional key, not a sensor room card, and the door is also open. It is not an automatic lock. In rooms close to the road, you will hear the crows outside in the morning, and occasionally you will hear the sound of luggage being pushed in the corridor. There are no other public facilities in the hotel and it is just accommodation. Those who are concerned should pay attention.

Stayed for 1 night. The room was spacious and clean. It's about a 6 minute walk from Ikebukuro, and there's a convenience store right in front, so you won't have any trouble finding food. It's a little far from the station, so there's no hustle and bustle. Since it is surrounded by buildings, there is no view, but the room has its own air conditioner and the room temperature can be adjusted. The toilet has a washlet and you can use wifi, but the TV is small. The price is reasonable and I'm satisfied with the quality.

I stayed for 5 nights using the travel support discount. About 5 minutes from Ikebukuro station. There is a coin laundry attached, and there is a convenience store right in front of it and right next to it. There are several 24-hour restaurants nearby, which is very convenient. At first glance, it looks old from the outside, but the rooms have been renovated and are stylish and modern. It feels more like being in a monthly hotel than a hotel. Although the reception is not available 24 hours a day, there are room cleaning and towel exchange services. It's like a combination of hotel and monthly. The room is quite spacious even for a single person, and is equipped with amenities, loungewear, hair dryer, refrigerator, washlet, water heater, Wi-Fi, and TV. The staff were very kind. Feels like home. It may not be suitable for those who are particular about the excessive hotel service and the noise from outside can be heard, but I personally liked it very much and will definitely return. It was actually a pretty hidden hotel that I didn't want to tell much about. Thank you very much for your time.
