We got the yellow scooter in the photo. Condition seems to be okay, accelerates well, absorbs bumps well, stops decently as well. We really missed a phone holder (which I think other companies include). Price was 200 Baht/day. We opted for 3000 Baht deposit and got it all back without much fuss (as it should be because we did no damage). The lady renting the bikes was helpful enough but said to take a lot of photos of bike which was nice (that she reminded to do that) but a bit frightening as well (why a lot??).

We had very mixed feelings about this company, we had a tour canceled due to weather and they did after a while of back and forth provide a refund, however a ferry we booked was canceled and we were not informed by staff. We clearly told them it must be WhatsApp. We were left stranded and forced to go via mini bus with an overcharged ticket. Be very weary

Hello everyone, My wife and I rented a scooter from Petandaman yesterday. Unfortunately, I accelerated too much during the test drive and hit the wall. The front of the scooter was slightly damaged. This morning, shortly before we left for our next stay, I was there to pay for the damage. The owner charged me around 9500 baht. I pointed out to him that there was a deductible of 5,000 baht in the contract. He then summoned the lady who concluded the contract with us and explained to me that she had apparently made a mistake and that the excess was 50,000 baht (the amount is entered into the contracts manually). To prove it, he showed me “old” contracts. He said his employee would have to cover any difference. She casually explained to me that her monthly salary is 9,000 baht and that she would have to pay 4,500 baht herself if I only paid the agreed 5,000. Unfortunately I couldn't check this, but I assumed the worst. That's why I agreed to pay the full amount because it's less painful for the average European. Now that I'm writing these lines, I realize that it was probably a rip-off. Unfortunately we didn't have time to go to the Tourist Police to report the case. The lady at the hotel reception also said that the bill was way too high. Therefore, my lessons learned: It is better to rent vehicles from reputable companies that do not threaten to prosecute their employees for trivial mistakes and thus put extortionate pressure on customers. If in doubt, always go to Tourist Police! Best regards Tom
