The place itself it’s a nice one, I think the problem is who manages this place. I felt they don’t care as much about the place, the service or to put in effort . First of all it says international in the name , but maybe one of the receptionist (who doesn’t work everyday )speaks English. One morning I was asked by the receptionist if I could speak Chinese since he can’t understand English.This place is mostly a local dormitory where people live long term. I liked the garden area but couldn’t enjoy because their internet was horrible all 6 days I was there. Other people staying there had the same issue. The free washing and rooftop clothes drying was amazing .The room had no window, it smelled like wet mold and there was mold too. They had a dehumidifier but they never cleaned it or bother to turn it on. You have to put on your own sheets and then at check out take them to reception. The mattress was very thin, I felt the wood bed frame. The cleaning was never done right, never a fresh feel after, still seeing dirt on the floor and toilet smelled. The location it’s far from any touristic attraction. It’s located in the financial district, so even hard to find a supermarket or 7-11, or a place to get water since this place has just hot water for free. It’s a quiet place for sure, 10 min walk from metro 14 and 4 . I used the bike a lot which was convenient, nice ride by the water and very good bike lanes. Overall it could be better if the reception would be helpful, especially for foreigners with tips where to go what to do, where to eat , get SIM card etc. It’s not the place where you would meet lots of foreigners because I think they book on the other side of the river by people’s park and bund areas.

We had a double room here. The air is super wet, no chance to dry your closed. Since most of all guests are living in common rooms, it's noisy at night because all people are going to take a shower. Room was pretty clean, anyway good value for money Stuff was English-speaking

Staff were polite and completely helpful. When we arrive we didn't have enough Yuan with us and we needed to go to a bank in order to change our currency. They accepted to give us the room until we get back from the bank. The atmosphere was good as well. You can ask almost all your question about your staying or tourist information from the staff and they're replying kindly. The person named Su, even bought us our train ticket through the Internet and we pay back her in cash because we didn't understand Chinese and didn't have alipay or wechat pay. · There is no elevator or escalator to go to upstairs. Room service was only changing the trash baskets. The location is not good a little bit far from subway station. You should pay attention not to pass the alley. It has a small sign. The alley was still under construction
