One of the best hotels here in Kuah Town, Langkawi to stay. Located in the heart of the town with market in front and connected to duty free shopping complex. Easy to find and free parking. Stayed 2 nights in delux twin rooms with breakfast here. Check in and check out was very quick. Rooms are pretty clean and tidy. Buffet breakfast was very delicious with wide range of local and western food in menu. Very well worth of price paid. Staff and service was very good. I strongly recommend this hotel since this hotel provides 4 star service and amenities at 3 star price. 👌👍

A great place to stay in Kuah, especially for a big family like mine. So convenient, easy access, well maintained, extremely clean, comfy and cosy! Thanks a lot for giving us the luxury by staying there at a budget price

Overall we had an okay time at HIG. The hotel is nice but I think it is clearly outdated. The service was great and the room was big. There is a massive variety for breakfast! Also we liked the small Islamic touches like a Quran and Qublah direction, these are only small things that shouldn't put off non-Muslim travellers. We came across a big issue on our first night. I opened the hotel's own water bottle that was provided and drank from it, then realised there was black dirt inside the cap and inside of the bottle. This really put us off the hotel in terms of hygiene and cleanliness although the manager has now escalated the situation and said it will be investigated. We did also notice that some of the dishes during breakfast weren't clean. Also we ran out of toilet roll after a day and were not provided with hand soap when we first got to the room. The hotel has 3 stars and I think this is an accurate representation. It would be good for a budget stay. For context I would normally stay at 4 star hotels so perhaps my expectations were too high.

My recent stay at HIG Hotel Langkawi was a mixed experience, leading to a 3-star rating. The rooms at the hotel were average, receiving a 3-star rating. While they provided the basic necessities, I found the decor and amenities to be somewhat outdated and in need of improvement. Similarly, the service offered by the hotel staff also merited a 3-star rating. While they were polite and responsive, I noticed some areas where their attentiveness could have been enhanced to create a more memorable guest experience. On the upside, the hotel's location was a positive aspect, earning a 4-star rating. It was conveniently situated in close proximity to various attractions, making it easy to explore the beauty of Langkawi. However, one of the areas that fell short was the value for money, which I rated as 2 stars. I felt that the overall quality of the hotel did not quite justify the rates charged, leaving me somewhat dissatisfied with my investment. Furthermore, the maintenance of the property received a 2-star rating. I noticed several areas where the hotel could benefit from better upkeep and attention to detail, which affected the overall ambiance. In conclusion, my experience at HIG Hotel Langkawi was average, with aspects of both satisfaction and disappointment. While the location was convenient and the service was acceptable, the value for money and maintenance could use some improvement. If you prioritize convenience in your stay and are willing to overlook some shortcomings, this hotel might still be worth considering. Hope this helps 🙏
