Old building that seriously need refurbishment and renovation. Some of the floors are closed and it looks scary. Furnitures in the room looks very old. The food in the coffee house is simple and not up to the standard. Nearby beaches is not accessible. Not a ideal place for shopping or sight seeing. The nearest Kuah town looks dead after 6pm. Overall the hotel is not in a good location for tourist but the room rates is fair. Would recommend holiday goers to stay at Pantai Cenang which is ideal for shopping, sight seeing, beaches and night activities.

Stayed in GCH a week ago for 2 nites. Brought a group of cyclist to stay and attended an event as well. Overall, pleasant stay. Room was decent and spacious, best thing was hotel allowed bicycles into room. Breakfast was simple and good enough for our liking. Location was good as it was walking distance to many good food. View was ok. Special mention to a front reception staff named Ayu who was helpful thru out the stay.

I really wish I could give this place a five star . Overall the service in the hotel was so good, very helpful staff and they arranged a lot of things for us . However the only problem I had was with the rooms and the toilets. It is old but that is not the problem , it has not been maintained well. The toilets are the worst and not very clean. May be they need to think about making certain renovations. But overall I loved my stay here due to the service they provided

Because of so many hotels in Langkawi this days, this old faces hotel just ok. Furniture are all old, but cleanliness is OK so nothing worst about our staying here. Just it's feel gross to enter bathroom because of drain circulation problem, water ponding everywhere, slippery also. Breakfast was just ok but yet still acceptable. It's not a worst stay but a lot to be improved as so many new hotels nearby.
