Room is dated. Bathroom was in need of updating & had an "old" smell. Bed linens smelled like stinky towels especially the pillows. Location is great for walking to UPMC and lots of restaurants nearby. Valet parking only $30 night. My larger vehicle didn't fit in garage so they offered to park my truck down the street at another garage. I didn't feel comfortable with that idea plus we had a handicapped placard and needed vehicle closer by. They kindly offered to park my vehicle in their hotel van parking. Service is great. Price is not bad. Would definitely stay here again but hotel needs a few upgrades in rooms.

Very nice property located in convenient proximity to UPMC Presbyterian. Clean, comfortable rooms. Beautiful lobby and accommodating staff. If you need a place to stay near the hospital, this is it.

Pros: Rooms are as clean as they can be with dated furniture and carpet. They have a nice sized mini fridge and microwave. Location is great, making most of Oakland walkable. However it’s very loud at night. Front desk and vallet people were very kind and personable. Cons: The rooms were dated. It is very noisy at night. Vallet parking is expensive and is not guaranteed. I was there for work and anytime I would find a quiet area in the business lounge, students would come in and loudly converse.

We stayed at this location for a recent trip to the city. This location is near Carlow Univ and the Univ of Pittsburgh. Its a nice area of town within walking distance to Pitt. There are many restaurants in the area that you can walk to. The parking at this hotel is valet ONLY. Its 30.00 a night to park there. I was able to park on the street one night to make it easier but that's not a guarantee. The hotel staff were all very hospitable. Overall we enjoyed the stay. We were on the 9th floor of the building. There is a gym and a restaurant on site. Our room was nice with a view of the city. Lots of construction in the area right now. The bldg next to the hotel is being torn down. We had no noise issues. This hotel is about 5-10 minutes from the downtown /stadium areas by car.
