My past experiences with this hotel have been somewhat mixed, but this time it was wonderful. Very friendly staff, upgrade to an executive room on the 14th floor, excellent breakfast, large and well-equipped fitness room. And the weather played it's part and offered fantastic views. Yes, the furniture is old and the swimming pool small, but overall this was a great stay.

Overall this is a nice hotel. The room I had was big enough four our 2-day stay and it had plenty of space for clothing. The restaurant was nice for breakfast and lunch. The staff were friendly and helpful. This hotel is in a mostly residential area. Other than being adjacent to the English Garden, there is not much that is close by. It is not walking distance to the downtown of Munich to most local activities.

I would give ten stars for customer service. They let me check in at 8am when I arrived to town which was amazing. Super nice hotel right next to the gardens. I walked to the Old City in about 20 minutes. The lounge on the top floor is awesome with food and drinks. The gym is really nice for a hotel and has quite a few machines. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel. They have a store with expensive Oktoberfest outfits if you need one. Highly recommend staying here.

We booked 7 rooms * 4 nights for a business trip. Overall, the location was great, facilities were fair. However their accounting system was a disaster, our trip was bothered by overcharges and missing refunds. The big "surprise" was, after a few days, the hotel suddenly sent the invoice again saying that our reservation wasn't paid yet, but the reservation was a "Advance Purchase rate", which means a full payment with credit card before arrival is compulsory.... The communication regarding payment was a waste of time. As a 4/5 stars hotel, they should do their work correctly. I would say this hotel is not ready for group/business booking.
