Very pleasant stay overall - hotel was quiet and clean. Location is close to the gas lamp district (easy 10 min walk) where there are many restaurants and bars. Parking garage is connected to the hotel via walkway and convenient. Rooms were spacious and we got a bit of a view of the Coronado Bridge. The hotel kindly supplied a toddler crib and had it setup and ready in our room. The highlight for us was the access to the boardwalk for a morning stroll - very convenient. Would consider staying here again. Only point of criticism was that the hotel is located right on the fringe of a grungy neighborhood (across the highway towards the baseball stadium). We were travelling with a toddler in a stroller and used the overhead walkway to cross the highway… the elevators on the walkway were out of service and being used by homeless as a shelter. The area can easily be avoided by taking a different route, but mentioning for fellow parents Note on perks for Hilton Honours members: the hotel noted my Diamond status and was great in honouring early check in / late checkout. No room upgrade this time, and we were given a $45 voucher for breakfast (instead of a free breakfast voucher like most other Hilton’s I’ve stayed at). Overall, still nice that I got something but not the best perks I’ve seen from partner Hilton honours chain hotels.

Location is perfect if you are here for a conference. I did go to the gym every day which has all the basic equipment (high quality) if you want to get a proper work out done. Just one note: The boxing bag needs to be placed properly. Because when I tried sparring on my upper body day, I just couldn’t as it was continuously hitting the rack. I am not a Starbucks fan, but there is one right by the hotel. Another option for coffee (no espresso machine) is the Cannery. Amenities are great. Skyline views are great, sunrise and sunset is amazing from the room. All over a pleasant, comfortable stay

A friend suggested I try this hotel. I am very happy that I did! The hotel it self is giant but it’s well laid out and easy to navigate. The staff is very professional and were helpful the few times I needed something. The views from the hotel are outstanding - you get the bay and the city! I will definitely be staying here again in the future

Stayed at this hotel and was part of a wedding June 2023 at Pointe. Although the location and views were amazing, they really put the wedding couple through it. They recommended a terrible wedding planner, forgot to block a suite for the wedding couple the day they checked in, had 0 security at the wedding so lots of crashers, and so much more. Over half a year later we still can't stop talking about how bad the service was. I also had issues with validating my parking and when I went to the front desk for help, they were extremely rude and brushed me off so I ended up just paying as I didn't want to make it a whole ordeal. Definitely do NOT recommend this place for a wedding or event.

Wonderful experience, front desk guy was great during check in process and informative, as well as the breakfast staff. Great location with shuttle to and from the Coronado island, views of the bay and city. Our room was at the higher floors and views were just amazing. Their facilities like restaurants and pools were awesome as well. I'd stay here if back in San Diego.
