**Be aware any van drivers car park has a height barrier of 2.1 meters.** For me this was a business trip, it fell in budget and was local to where I needed to be. The staff seem pleasant and most are helpful. Nice and modern feel, the reception and dining area look recently done up. Fairly decent menu, bonus of having a feature buffet dinner option each evening, £30 for three courses, but that would be plus drinks. Good buffet breakfast. Didn't get time to use the spa, would again in the future, would book here again if it comes within budget, of under £130 a night, it will depend on that and availability as to whether I can return. Only down side the shower is very weak, not the best pressure, other than that spot on.

4.5/5 Great hotel. Stayed for two nights. Just the bathtub was small, and the cleaning lady would disturb us at 10am. Apart from that the spa facilities are great, the reception area is good and the bedroom is decent.

Very impressed with this hotel, chosen for our business meeting and Christmas function. Easy to find. Super stylish hotel with comfortable rooms, far superior to other " more budget " hotel groups . Friendly efficient service. Well organised event night. Lovely relaxed breakfast buffet.

Lovely warm welcome from the reception staff on our arrival. The meeting room was set up ready for us that evening and everyone who arrived. checked in without any issues. The Norfolk Suite we had for the Saturday evening meal had been set out, exactly as we had asked for, with the necessary equipment. The food was served on time and efficiently - it was hot and everyone enjoyed their meal. All in all, the staff were amazing. The reception staff, the events team, the catering staff, even down to the friendly cleaner we saw whilst there. The rooms were very comfortable and had everything you needed. We ate in the restaurant on the Friday, good choice on the menu and breakfast each morning had lots of variety. We couldn't have asked for more on the weekend and we think we picked the best hotel to host our event from. We would recommend this hotel and we would definitely return again in the future.

There were 10 of us booked in to go to an engagement party locally when we arrived back at the hotel around 12 am. We were greeted by about 30 people drinking and smoking at the front door. It was very noisy. We all went to our rooms. Not one of our parties was able to sleep. This went on till 5 in the morning as there was a charity event going on. I actually rung reception and was told there was nothing they could do about it, and if you think it's noisy in your room, you should hear it down here, as I was not happy with the comments of the reception I went to see them the next morning, explaining to them that not one person in the party of 10 people were able to sleep and we had a 100 mile drive back home and where shattered, which made it dangerous. We received 2 room rates back out of 5, which I found bizarre. Why did they not refund all 5 rooms. I sent an email to the manager of the hotel only to be ignored. It's shameful for such a big hotel chain, I am in Peterborough quite a bit, but I will never use this hotel again
