Title: Exceptional Service and Retrieval of Lost Item at Homewood Suites Rating: ★★★★★ (5/5) I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Homewood Suites and I must say, the exceptional service displayed by the manager truly exceeded my expectations. Not only did they go above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable, but they also demonstrated great dedication when it came to helping me retrieve a valuable item I had mistakenly left behind. From the moment I arrived at the hotel, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff at the front desk were friendly and efficient, facilitating a smooth check-in process. The manager, in particular, stood out with their attentiveness and genuine concern for the satisfaction of their guests. During my stay, I found the accommodations to be clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The suite provided ample space for relaxation and had all the necessary amenities one could ask for. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job in ensuring that everything was in order and always went the extra mile to make my stay pleasant. Unfortunately, as I hurriedly checked out, I mistakenly left behind my watch—a treasured item with immense sentimental value to me. I realized my mistake only after leaving the hotel. In a moment of panic, I contacted the front desk immediately, hoping against hope that it could be retrieved. The manager, upon hearing about my predicament, took charge of the situation and assured me that they would do everything possible to help. They promptly launched a search operation and personally supervised the efforts to locate and secure my watch. I was amazed at the level of dedication and care demonstrated by the manager and their team. They consistently kept me updated on the progress of their search. It was evident that they genuinely understood the importance this watch held for me and were determined to provide a satisfactory resolution. In a stroke of great fortune, they managed to track down my watch in one of the rooms that I had occupied during my stay. The manager arranged for the watch to be shipped to me promptly, ensuring its safe delivery. I was absolutely thrilled and relieved to have it back in my possession, and I owe it all to the unwavering commitment of the manager. Beyond the exceptional service and attentiveness displayed by the manager, the entire hotel staff upheld a high standard of customer service throughout my stay. From friendly greetings in the hallway to prompt assistance with any requests, every member of the team made me feel valued as a guest. In conclusion, my experience at Homewood Suites was nothing short of outstanding. The exceptional service provided by the manager, coupled with the efficient and accommodating staff, created an atmosphere of warmth and hospitality that left a lasting impression on me. I have stayed at this property several times. Each time I come back, it seems that it is in worse state than the prior trip. On this latest trip, the issues were significant. Upon check-in and walking into the room, I noticed the front door to the room had a very loud and obnoxious squeak. I complained to someone in the housekeeping staff and was told he would reporte it to maintenance. Nobody addressed my issue the entire 4-night stay. I also complained to the housekeeping staff that the room should have the customary waste basket in the bathroom and he made it sound like that was a nice but not must have. Another housekeeping staff heard the complaint and suggested to her co-worker to give me the basket from the room he was currently cleaning. The sink faucet handle was extremely loose and made it difficult to turn on the hot and cold water. I complained to the front desk right away and nothing got fixed. The water pressure in both the sink and shower was really bad. The shower was dingy and had signs of mildew. Microwave was malfunctioning. The light and fan would stay on unless I shook the door a few times. One of the side doors did not work with key card. One of the 2 elevators was broken all week and the one that was operational was really dingy looking. The housekeeping staff came into the room everyday and lowered the A/C to the coldest setting as well as changed the fan from automatic to ON. And every evening I walked into a meat freezer upon returning to my room. Not sure when this property was built but it seems to be stuck in the 1970s. It needs a significant amount of TLC to give guests a better experience.

Receptionist was nice. They overbooked the kind of suite we wanted. So the first night we had to get a smaller one. The second night we got the suite we wanted. The rooms were fully equipped with full size fridge, microwave, a small stove top area, dishwasher, sink w/ garbage disposal, and dishes..... The room could've been cleaned a little better. The pull out bed in the sofa wasn't checked because it still had cereal crumbs in it from the last visit. There was only one remote for the 2 TVs so we had to share.

Hotel was average at best. Had some good elements that reminded me of a quality Hilton property, but certainly not worth the expense for this trip. Room was very outdated. Living room couch and pillow reminded me of college and the living room tv wouldnt shut off nor the volume worked. Had to unplug from the wall. Room didnt have enough towels for a 2 bdrm selection and had to check in 2 hrs past 3p, which is check in time. The staff was nice and cordial. Not sure the maintenance team really knows much. With the tv, instead of maintenance immediately going to my room, they give me a remote to try first. One elevator was out of service. The wall signage outside of elevators were missing letters and the lobby pillows are the same ones I have from Walmart. At one time, this hotel was a solid choice, but with a Home2Suites, Hampton Inn, and Hilton close by, Ill opt to try the others next time. Just didnt meet the Hilton Brand experience I am accustomed to as a Diamond Member.

To start, I checked in via the app the day before and chose my room via the app, in the notes requested early check in because we would be on the road for 7 plus hours. Also requested extra pillows and towels as I always do, and stated to give the appropriate number for a family of 5. Day of check in, got to the hotel at 230pm. The staff informed us that the room was not ready but would be at 3 since that is the normal check in time anyways and I would receive the alert via the app.Okay no big deal. Left to the store, came back at 345pm well after regular check in, no alert that my room was ready, went to the desk, room not ready. Front desk clerk informs us that they were busy but she would “take” someone else’s room that hadn’t arrived and give it to us. Get to the room, call to request extra pillows and towels and the bedding set that goes on the sofa bed because that was missing- phone doesn’t work and is the phone for room 204(we were not in 204). Husband goes downstairs to request the needed items, he has to go to housekeeping to get the items himself. Never got the pillows- I request them via the messaging on the honors app- never received a reply back nor the pillows so my son had to go downstairs to get them. Now on to the smaller items- the remote didn’t work in the living room, the plate in the microwave didn’t fit the microwave and kept sliding off, the body gel and conditioner were empty and there was no laundry bag in the closet. Lastly, we requested late check out and were given an extra hour and housekeeping still managed to knock loudly on the door and that was with the do not disturb sign on the door. To end, my daughter had left her huge water thermos in the eating area and when we asked about it we were told, no one turned it in. Yet, somehow the front desk managed to retrieve it from somewhere. I have been an Honors member a long time and most recently was dropped a tier to gold- I stopped staying at Hilton properties last year due to lack of customer care at mid tier hotels (shouldn’t have to drop hundreds of dollars a night at a Hilton to receive great customer care) but decided to give them another shot and honestly I was treated better at the days inn we stood at the night before that I paid $49 for the night than I was here. Oh and the digital key I requested NEVER arrived. Extremely dissatisfied.The breakfast and location were decent.
