Honest SMICHOV

WARNING!! The rooms have everything you need but I banged my big toe, my index toe, my middle toe, my wedding toe and my little toe off the end of the bed several times. It is reccomended you wear a pair of slippers in the rooms at all times. The mattresses on the beds weren't the most comfortable either.... Other than this the stay was good, good location and good shower facilities.

It's run like a hotel. Very clean, all mod cons, unfortunately no toaster. We had a double bed which was huge - 180 cm wide. It had a topper and was very comfortable. The windows were old style which we like very much and were excellent at excluding the street noise. Stupidly you must walk up half a flight of stairs, then down half a flight for the lift, then the lift stops between floors so you have another half flight of stairs to walk. The lift is really small, 2 people max. Check in and out is somewhat Complicated, lots of access numbers etc - but that's modern. Bathroom was good with high water pressure and lashings of hot water. Also had a washer / dryer with 2 x free detergent. Great. Large Fridge with ice box, complementary ice. Salt (no pepper). Free scourer, washing up liquid, bucket rubbish bin, extra rubbish sack, dustpan - everything you need. Spare toilet paper, hair/body shampoo, conditioner. Kitchen had the new electronic controlled induction plates (2), which we hate - you need a manual to work out how to use it. Utensils and crockery all present - although there were no small, flat plates for cake/ biscuits etc. Flat was warm and comfortable with large flat screen, smart tv (no English channels). Location is not good, right on a very, busy, noisy street - 15 minutes walk to local shopping or two tram stops, or one metro stop ( very deep line and 7 minutes walk).The public transport in Prague is excellent. It's run like a hotel, and I assume that it is owned by one. Certainly the shampoos etc are supplied by a German hotel supplier. There are 7 floors with 4 Apartments on each. Most of these have been split into 2 Honest apartments and only 4 are now non Honest.
